In order to further strengthen the safety management of kindergarten school buses, promote and educate teachers and children on safety knowledge, improve their emergency evacuation and self-protection abilities in response to emergencies, and effectively ensure the personal safety of children riding school buses, Qingpingguo Kindergarten in Gaoping District, Nanchong City recently conducted a school bus safety emergency evacuation drill.

Every safe trip relies on rigorous and meticulous safety measures. Before the drill begins, the school bus driver strictly implements the vehicle exit inspection system, conducting a comprehensive and detailed inspection of the school bus tires, brake system, doors, emergency escape doors, escape hammers, fire extinguishers, seat belts, and on-board safety facilities one by one, carefully identifying potential safety hazards in the vehicle, ensuring stable performance and intact and usable safety equipment of the school bus, and building a solid first line of defense for the safety of children riding on the bus.

Under the orderly guidance of the on-board teacher, the children consciously and orderly boarded the car. After getting on the bus and taking a seat, the teacher assists the children in fastening their seat belts one by one, guiding them to have a good habit of sitting firmly and fastening their seat belts throughout the journey, and further strengthening their daily safety awareness while riding.

During the driving process, the vehicle suddenly malfunctioned and cannot continue to operate normally. The school bus driver immediately pulled over and reminded the on-board caregiver to immediately organize the evacuation of the children. The on-board caregiver immediately opened the emergency door, assisted the children in unfastening the safety buckle, and quickly evacuated to a safe area for orderly assembly.

After the safe evacuation of the children, the on-board caregiver will count the number of children and check for any injuries.

At the same time, the school bus driver immediately dialed the reporting hotline, promptly and accurately reported the school bus malfunction and on-site conditions, and conducted a detailed inspection of the vehicle malfunction.

After the drill, Party branch secretary Qing Yishan conducted a detailed review and summary of the entire process of the school bus emergency evacuation drill. We fully recognize the standardized process of this drill, the tacit cooperation between teachers and children, and the efficient and orderly emergency response. At the same time, we emphasize the key work of daily safety management of school buses, responsibilities of accompanying positions, routine boarding of children, and emergency evacuation details. We will further refine safety management, strengthen job responsibilities, and continuously improve the campus traffic safety emergency system.

After the drill, the class teacher conducted a school bus safety themed education activity based on the real simulation scenario. Popularize safety knowledge to young children, including correct ways of riding, proper use of seat belts, emergency evacuation precautions, and how to follow instructions in case of emergencies. Help young children keep in mind the knowledge of riding safety and effectively enhance their self-protection ability.
