Gather multiple parties to work together to build a secure defense line

On October 13th, Longmen Middle School in Nanchong, Sichuan Province held the second joint conference on key youth care services and safe campus construction for 2026, in order to thoroughly implement the deployment of provincial and municipal work on key youth care services, regular crackdown on organized crime and organized crime, and safe campus construction, review the results of previous work, and fill in the gaps in campus safety governance. Members of the school leadership team, heads of various functional departments, newly hired Vice President of Rule of Law and Rule of Law Class Teacher, representatives of local functional departments such as the Municipal Procuratorate, Longmen Street Office, Longmen Police Station, Gaoping District Fire Rescue Brigade, Longmen Office of the Municipal Supervision Bureau, and the Comprehensive Administrative Law Enforcement Bureau stationed in Longmen Street Law Enforcement Squadron, as well as relevant leaders of the school's family committee and campus outsourcing service team attended the meeting. Tang Bing, Deputy Secretary of the School Party Committee and President, delivered a concluding speech at the meeting. The meeting was chaired by Vice President Zhang Jianwei.

At the meeting, attendees gathered to study the spirit of the series of documents on provincial and municipal safety work. The school issued appointment letters to the newly appointed Vice President of Rule of Law and Rule of Law Class Teacher on site, further enhancing the professional strength of the school's rule of law education and youth assistance.

Zhang Jianwei reported on the progress and implementation of various tasks at the first joint meeting of this year, as well as the closed-loop situation of account cancellation. He objectively sorted out the shortcomings and weaknesses of our school in professional assistance, dynamic tracking of key students, and governance of the surrounding campus environment. He reported on the overall situation of the school's safety risk investigation and clearly identified the key and difficult issues that need to be jointly tackled by various linkage units.

In the exchange and discussion session, each participating unit, based on their own functions, conducted in-depth exchanges on key issues such as the protection of minors, care and assistance for young people, normalization of campus anti crime and elimination, prevention and control of campus bullying, improvement of the surrounding environment, food safety management, drowning prevention work, and emergency response. Specific implementation measures were discussed on information exchange, joint investigation, education and correction, special rectification, etc., and consensus was reached through multi-party governance.

Tang Bing delivered a concluding speech at the joint meeting. He reviewed the phased achievements of school safety construction and key youth care work in the first half of the year, deeply analyzed existing risks and hidden dangers, and made comprehensive arrangements for the next stage of work. He emphasized the need to tighten the responsibilities of all parties, focus on key areas such as student mental health, food safety, fire safety, drowning prevention, and campus security during the autumn semester, and comprehensively carry out risk and hidden danger investigations; We need to deepen the coordination and linkage between schools and local areas, improve the mechanism of joint prevention and control, solidly promote the normalization of the crackdown on organized crime and eliminate evil, and strictly prevent campus bullying and the emergence of juvenile involvement in organized crime and evil; We need to carry out practical and detailed care and assistance work for six key categories of young students, implement account cancellation management, adhere to education, assistance, and correction simultaneously, weave a dense network of youth growth protection, and make every effort to build a strong barrier for campus safety and legal protection in the new semester.

This joint meeting further opened up the channels for school local collaborative work, clarified the responsibilities of each unit, and built a three-dimensional and safe campus governance system with the participation of schools, political and legal organs, local departments, and families.
