The anti fraud short play Rocket of Nanchong Film Industry Vocational College went online

The collaborative cultivation of talents by police academies and the integration of industry and education have yielded fruitful results

Recently, under the joint guidance of the Propaganda Department of the Shunqing District Committee of Nanchong City, Sichuan Province, the Shunqing District Public Security Branch, and the District Culture, Radio, Film and Tourism Bureau, the anti fraud short drama Rocket, produced by Nanchong Film Industry Vocational College, was launched simultaneously on multiple platforms such as Tiktok, Tencent Video, Youku, Hongguo Short Drama, and Hippo Short Drama. This drama is a benchmark achievement for the school to deepen police school cooperation and promote the integration of industry and education in collaborative education. Through film and television creation, it empowers local anti fraud propaganda and explores a new path for universities to use their professional advantages to serve local governance.

Relying on the police academy co construction platform, both the academy and the police have overcome the limitations of traditional anti fraud propaganda forms: the public security department provides real case blueprints, checks law enforcement scenes and processes, and ensures professional realism of the plot; The school leverages the professional advantages of the entire film and television industry chain, leading the entire process of script polishing, filming execution, and post production, integrating high-risk fraud types such as brushing orders for rebates, false investments, and impersonating public security, procuratorial, and judicial authorities into the narrative. The work started production in April this year and took six months to polish and launch. With the vivid form of "short drama+anti fraud", it breaks away from preaching and brings anti fraud knowledge closer to the masses, injecting cultural and creative energy into the construction of safe Nanchong.

As the only vocational college in China named after the "film industry", the school has always adhered to the integration of "art+technology" in education, and regards real industry projects as the core carrier of industry education integration. Rocket is the first original film and television work of the school, which was co created by the school police. The main actors and core roles are mainly teachers and students, and the front-line police of Shunqing public security are specially invited to participate in the live performance. The group performance team is also composed of teachers and students and police officers; Photography, lighting, costume design, post production, and publicity are all led by professional teachers for practical operation. A large number of shots are taken in daily scenes such as campus canteens and teaching buildings, truly realizing the practical teaching of "campus as a set, project as a classroom".

The effectiveness of practical education has been verified in various levels of competitions. In recent years, the student works of the school, such as "Alternative Life," "Warm Light," "Lights," and "Transformation," have won honors such as "Best Art," "Best Student Film," and "Best Editing" at the Asia International Youth Film Festival and the Asia International Youth Movie Night; Warm Light "won the Best Director Award at the 20th International" Youth Film Era "Film Festival in Russia. At present, the school has formed a full chain education system of "classroom teaching competition training industry practice", continuously providing compound and applied skilled talents for the film and television industry.

In terms of plot, the play is deeply embedded in the local cultural symbols of Shunqing, and ingeniously integrates the regional logo, urban landmark and characteristic food into the narrative: the name of the main character "Shunshui" echoes the regional card of "Shunqing", and the villain organization "Xishan Hall" takes the local landmark Xishan Scenic Area as its starting point, with a bowl of Nanchong characteristic Wenxing Rice noodles as its starting point, bringing out the old fraud cases that have been trapped for 20 years. The drama revolves around the game of good and evil between Shunshui, an anti fraud policewoman, and the fraud group "Xishantang". It tells about the two generations' difficult choices between kinship and legal principles. It panorama shows the performance of the "Rocket" action of Shunqing Public Security, which is a cross provincial pursuit of criminals. It has both the value of watching the story, the value of anti fraud and law popularization, and the attributes of local cultural communication, and highlights the dual responsibility of local colleges and universities in the construction of safe service and the communication of cultural tourism.
