20 students from Nanchong Special Education School have won 26 awards at the Provincial Paralympic Games

The 11th Sichuan Disabled Persons' Games and the 6th Special Olympics are in full swing. Twenty athletes from Nanchong Special Education School raced on the field, striving to be the first in the four competition events of Special Olympics basketball, Taekwondo, Special Olympics athletics, and Special Olympics roller skating. They gave their all, faced difficulties, and passed the test. They won one team championship, four individual gold medals, three silver medals, and six bronze medals, and made it to the top eight in multiple events. The field has received frequent good news and has won 26 awards!

Special Olympics women's basketball team worked together and worked hard to win the team championship

In this competition, the school independently formed a women's Special Olympics basketball team to compete. The team members cooperated harmoniously, steadily attacked and defended on the court, and were not afraid of fierce competition from opponents. With daily training accumulation and stable performance, they successfully won the Special Olympics women's basketball championship by overcoming all obstacles along the way!

The list of champion players is as follows: Wang Xia (Class 1, Grade 9), Jing Tiantian (Class 1, Grade 9), Chen Qi (Grade 2, Home Economics), Tang Ning (Grade 1, Food), Xiao Junyue (Grade 1, Home Economics).

A team gold medal embodies the sweat and perseverance of all team members, vividly demonstrating the training effectiveness of the school's characteristic sports team.

Taekwondo makes its debut in a provincial-level competition, fearlessly showcasing its youthful courage and resilience

This competition is the first time that the school's taekwondo team has stood on the provincial Paralympic Games stage. Faced with experienced and strong opponents from all over the province, the team members showed no fear, dared to fight and charge forward, calmly faced the challenges, conscientiously completed each round of competition, fully displayed every set of posture, and fully demonstrated the results of their daily training. The team members worked hard and won 2 bronze medals. Several team members made it to the top eight of the single event: Peng Jianhua (second year of food): won the bronze medal of adult men's KP60-80KG Lv Yutong (ninth grade class one), Yao Fuchao (first year of art), Wang Guojian (second year of art): the three of them worked together to win the bronze medal of KP60 adult men's team posture Chen Champion (first year of clothing): won the fifth place in KP60 adult men's -68kg category Feng Zhijie. Grade 7 Class 1: Won KP60 Young Men's -60kg Grade 5 Kingdom Key (Art Grade 2): Won KP60 Yao Fuchao (first year of art) ranked sixth in adult men's personal appearance: achieved seventh place in KP60 adult men's personal appearance. Lv Yutong (ninth grade class one) ranked eighth in KP60 adult men's personal appearance.

The first expedition is a breakthrough, accumulating valuable experience through on field training. Future team members will summarize their shortcomings, improve their skills, and gather strength to fight again, looking forward to the next competition where they will shine with even stronger strength.

Track and field and roller skating competitions have blossomed at multiple points, and multiple students have gone to the competition venues to win multiple medals

In addition to the basketball and taekwondo teams independently formed by the school, several outstanding sports students from our school have gone to various venues to participate in the Special Olympics athletics and roller skating competitions, breaking through themselves on different tracks and winning gold, silver, and bronze medals. Their achievements are impressive: Zhang Zhewei (food grade one) won the gold medal in the 400m event in the Special Olympics athletics competition; Long jump, 4x100m silver medal; 4 x 400m bronze medal; Kang Zhenzhen (first grade in home economics), ranked seventh in the 100 meter race, won the gold medal in the 100 meter race; Pang Xin (second year of home economics), ranked fourth in 400 meters and fifth in 200 meters: 4 × 100 meters, silver medal in long jump; Bronze medals in 800 meters and 4 × 400 meters; Liu Jinling (Food Grade 1) ranked seventh in 200 meters: fourth in 100 meters, sixth in 200 meters, and sixth in 400 meters. Special Olympics Roller Skating Competition: Gao Yichen (second year of high school): Men's 16-21 year old M02 group 100m gold medal; Men aged 16-21 M10 group 300 meter bronze medal Chen Meile (Class 2, Grade 9); Women aged 16-21 F01 group 100 meter gold medal; Bronze medal for women's second team in the 2 × 100m relay.

On the track, young people strive for self-improvement; Every honor comes from unremitting persistence. The women's basketball team has won the championship, and they have repeatedly won gold medals in athletics and roller skating. The taekwondo young athlete also bravely displayed his sword in his first competition. Whether it's school team battles or students rushing to various competitions, all team members face difficulties and surpass themselves.
