Nanchong Transportation Technical School: Historical Echoes Passing on from Generation to Generation

Patriotism is the national heart and soul of the Chinese nation, and the core foundation of moral education and talent cultivation. In order to deeply study and implement the spirit of patriotism education, fulfill the fundamental task of cultivating virtue and educating people, strengthen the effectiveness of moral education, standardize the form of class theme meetings, and play a demonstrative and leading role, on the afternoon of October 7th, Nanchong Transportation Technical School organized a patriotic education theme class meeting on "Historical Echoes and Passing on the Torch" in Class 8 of Grade 24. Tang Wei, the head of the Student Affairs Department, Jiang Xiaoshan, the deputy head of the department, and all class teachers observed the entire process.

At the beginning of the class meeting, Teacher Wang Liang took the "September 18th Incident" as the starting point, and through rich historical materials and vivid narration, led the students to review the conspiracy behind the Liutiaohu Incident and the painful history of the fall of Northeast China, allowing the students present to deeply feel the pain of the country's suffering and national crisis, and also to better understand the profound lesson of "falling behind means being beaten".

Subsequently, Teacher Wang Liang combined the advanced deeds of the participants in the just concluded national industry vocational skills competition to encourage students to actively study hard and transform their admiration for heroes into practical actions of diligent research and skill improvement. The students were deeply moved and expressed their views on how to implement and practice the spirit of patriotism in their daily lives. Everyone expressed that we should start by listening carefully to every class and completing every practical training, integrate patriotism into every action, and strive to grow into new era youth with ideals, courage to take responsibility, resilience, and willingness to struggle.

At the end of the class meeting, all students read 'Young China Speaks' in unison. The resounding and powerful recitation of "Youth intelligence leads to national intelligence, youth wealth leads to national wealth, youth strength leads to national strength..." echoed in the classroom, showcasing the upward spirit of young students and pushing this patriotic education class meeting to a climax.

After the class meeting, the head of the student affairs department, Tang Wei, and the deputy head, Jiang Xiaoshan, organized a review of the class meeting. Director Tang fully affirmed Teacher Wang Liang's implementation of patriotic education requirements, and believed that the class meeting had a clear theme, rich content, and vivid form, achieving the expected educational effect. She hopes that all class teachers will take this observation as an opportunity to continue innovating forms and enriching carriers, integrating patriotism education into daily class management, and promoting patriotism education to go deeper, more practical, and deeply into the mind and heart at the class level.
