Inheriting the spirit of the Long March, steadfastly pursuing a new journey of dreams

To commemorate the 90th anniversary of the victory of the Red Army's Long March, inherit the spirit of the great Long March, cultivate patriotism among young people, and solidly promote campus moral education work. On September 1st, Nanchong No.11 Middle School organized all students to watch the CCTV-1 special program "First Lesson of School - Our Long March Road" on time, setting sail for the new semester with the red ideological and political classroom.  

This issue of 'First Lesson of the School' takes the 90th anniversary of the victory of the Red Army's Long March as the background of the times. Through rich forms such as real-life classrooms, on-site interviews, and situational narratives, it vividly reproduces the magnificent history of the Long March, interprets the great spirit of the Long March of fearlessness, hard work, perseverance, and unity, and brings a profound, vivid, and highly infectious red education compulsory course to all students in the school.   

After the learning is over, each class takes this activity as an opportunity to actively carry out red themed education extension activities. The homeroom teacher guides students to exchange their movie watching insights and write post viewing reflections, allowing the spirit of the Long March to enter their minds and hearts, and helping students establish a life belief of cherishing time, striving hard, and loving the country.

Passing on the torch forever, striving is the right time. The red themed educational activity of the first lesson of the school year has deeply rooted the great spirit of the Long March in the hearts of every student at No.11 Middle School. In the new semester, Major General Nanchong No.11 will continue to deepen the fundamental task of cultivating morality and talent, carry out regular red ideological and political education, guide all students to continue the red bloodline, inherit the spirit of struggle, and forge ahead on the "Long March" of the new era, pursuing their dreams and growing up!

Wang Zixin, Class 1, Grade 6 of Nanchong No.11 Affiliated Primary School, said that watching "The First Lesson of School" and the stories of the Long March one by one deeply touched me. Our revolutionary predecessors are not afraid of hardship or fatigue. They have crossed snow capped mountains and walked through grasslands, which has brought us the happy life we have today. In the new semester, I will remember the spirit of the Long March, cherish the hard won learning time, listen attentively in class, be not afraid of difficulties, unite with classmates, establish patriotic ideals from an early age, and strive to be a positive and proactive young person in the new era.

Yang Bo, Class 6, Grade 3, Nanchong No.11 Middle School, said that after reading this issue of "The First Lesson of the School Year", the indomitable spirit of the Long March predecessors deeply infected me. That arduous journey tells us that any success cannot be achieved without persistence and struggle. As a junior high school student, I am in a critical period of youth growth. In the future, I will turn the spirit of the Long March into a driving force for learning, face setbacks in my studies, hone my willpower, be down-to-earth, live up to my youth, and strive to grow into a young person with ideals in the new era.

Luo Rui, from Class 4 of Nanchong No.11 High School, said that revisiting the history of the Long March has given me a deeper understanding of the Long March in the new era. Our predecessors overcame difficulties with firm beliefs, and this spirit also inspires contemporary youth. As high school students, we were born in times of peace, but our struggle never stops. In the future, I will continue to carry on the red bloodline, integrate the spirit of the Long March of fearlessness into my preparation and growth, firmly pursue my ideals, hone my skills, bravely shoulder the responsibilities of youth, and strive to pursue my life ideals.

Li Bo, Secretary of the Youth League Committee of Nanchong No.11 Middle School, stated that the theme of this issue, "The First Lesson of the School Year," which marks the 90th anniversary of the victory of the Long March, is a vivid and lively red ideological and political class. The spirit of the Long March transcends the times and remains fresh over time. As the secretary of the school Youth League Committee, I will take this film viewing as an opportunity to continue carrying out red themed education, guiding young members to inherit the spirit of the Long March, cultivate patriotism, transform the red power into a driving force for progress, strengthen ideals and beliefs, and forge ahead on the track of youth.
