Sichuan Nanchong: Nanchong No. 11 Middle School Holds 2025 News and Publicity Work Conference
In order to comprehensively enhance the quality and efficiency of the school's news and publicity work, Nanchong No. 11 Middle School convened its 2025 News and Publicity Work Conference on March 16. The conference systematically deployed publicity work for the new era of education. Members of the school's leadership team and key publicity personnel from various departments attended the meeting to discuss topics such as enhancing the dissemination of educational news and improving the publicity mechanism.
Li Bo, Secretary of the Youth League Committee of Nanchong No. 11 Middle School, delivered the opening remarks. He reviewed the achievements of the school's recent publicity work and emphasized that the meeting aimed to "be problem-oriented and goal-led" to elevate publicity work to a new level. Subsequently, Zheng Xiaolong, Director of the News Center, reported on the completion of the 2025 news and publicity targets for each department using detailed data.
The commendation session followed, where Yi Yanfa, Principal of Nanchong No. 11 Middle School, and Li Jing, Executive Vice Principal, jointly presented certificates of honor to 11 outstanding publicity officers. Principal Yi addressed the awardees, saying, "Publicity work is the 'window' of the school. I hope you continue to convey warmth through your writing and document growth through your lenses."
Building on this, Secretary Li Bo led the participants in an in-depth study of the "Trial Management Measures for News and Publicity Work of Nanchong No. 11 Middle School." He interpreted the regulations one by one, from the manuscript review process and public opinion response mechanisms to the rewards and penalties, providing a systemic guarantee for the standardization and professionalization of publicity work.
Regarding future work deployment, Executive Vice Principal Li Jing, taking a holistic view, put forward specific requirements for future publicity work: adhere to the core socialist values, promote the school's educational brand, and enhance the pre-judgment of public opinion risks. She pointed out three existing shortcomings: "lack of systematicness, foresight, and innovation." She proposed to build a high-quality publicity matrix through team training, thematic packaging, and internal and external cooperation.
In his concluding remarks, Principal Yi Yanfa emphasized that "news and publicity are the 'soft power' of the school's development." He proposed three core requirements: dedication—holding monthly news coordination meetings and regularly selecting high-quality videos; emotion—conducting "warm-hearted" publicity case selections; and efficiency—ensuring the timeliness of news, achieving "speed, accuracy, and depth."
At the end of the meeting, Secretary Li Bo called on all publicity officers to take this conference as a starting point and, with a spirit of "unity and innovation," tell the stories of Nanchong No. 11 Middle School well and convey the strong voice of education.
