Despite the lingering chill of early spring, the Yingshan Economic Development Zone is bustling with the sounds of production. Inside the workshops, the roar of machinery is constant, while outside, vehicles transporting goods and raw materials shuttle back and forth.

At Sichuan Dexun Future Technology Co., Ltd., the fully automated production lines are operating at full capacity. Robotic arms move swiftly, and each production process is tightly connected and well-organized. Workers are busy packing newly produced fire extinguisher boxes and cylinders for shipment to places like Guizhou and Shaanxi. Established and operational since September 2024, this modern enterprise integrates R&D, production, and sales of fire protection products. Its product lines cover fire-extinguishing equipment, fire protection, alarm devices, and fire-resistant materials, which are widely used in key sectors such as power, rail transit, and petrochemical industries.

"Currently, our company has a sufficient order backlog," said Gao Lutao, the executive vice president. He added that the company plans to launch new products and bring new equipment online, aiming for an annual output value of over 50 million yuan.

At Yingshan Hengyuan Plush Toys Co., Ltd., nearly 500 workers are busy fulfilling orders for the first quarter. This company, which focuses on the creative design and manufacturing of plush toys, exports nearly half of its products to Europe and America via the China-Europe freight trains.

"We don't lack orders; we lack workers," said Tang Qiongzhen, the production manager. Since the beginning of the quarter, the company has produced 1.7 million plush toys, with orders already scheduled through July. To meet deadlines, the company is organizing employees to work overtime and expedite shipments.

"Achieving a strong economic start is not only a prerequisite for completing the annual targets but also a necessary measure to boost confidence and stabilize expectations. It must be achieved without compromise and with full effort," said a person in charge of the Yingshan County government. The county will strengthen support in key areas, coordinating solutions to issues such as labor, funding, and raw material supply to help enterprises maintain full production.

In recent days, the author visited several enterprises in the Yingshan Economic Development Zone and learned that most companies have orders scheduled through July and beyond, showing a promising trend of robust sales and production. Everyone is working hard to fulfill orders and strive for a strong start.

According to data from the Yingshan County Bureau of Economic Informatization and Science and Technology, from January to February, the county's industrial output value of enterprises above designated size increased by 18.2% year-on-year; industrial invoicing revenue increased by 164.42%, ranking first in the city; industrial electricity consumption increased by 4.92%, ranking third in the city; the number of newly added enterprises above designated size increased by 10, ranking first in the city; and the actual industrial value-added tax paid in January increased by 438.79%, ranking first in the city.

Renewal and Replacement Surge: A Vibrant Consumer Market

When it comes to this year's consumer market, the most inspiring and consumer-boosting trend is the renewal and replacement program. The implementation of the "two new" policies has brought policy benefits from "paper" to "accounts." Under the dual stimulus of "merchant discounts" and "national subsidies," consumer enthusiasm continues to soar.

"Enjoy a 20% government subsidy, with a maximum subsidy of 2,000 yuan per unit," read the banner at a home appliance store on Fuxing Road in Yingshan County on the morning of March 12. The notice posted at the store entrance, titled "Circular of the General Office of the People's Government of Sichuan Province on Printing and Distributing Several Policy Measures to Further Support Large-Scale Equipment Renewal and Consumer Goods Renewal and Replacement," attracted many citizens to inquire. Home appliances such as washing machines, refrigerators, air conditioners, and televisions were neatly displayed. Sales staff carefully explained the renewal and replacement policies and discounts, with many customers closing deals on the spot and leaving satisfied.

"My old refrigerator has been in use for 10 years. Seeing the renewal and replacement campaign, I decided to place an order," said citizen Gong Yan. "I saved 1,500 yuan through the renewal and replacement and government subsidies. It's very cost-effective!"

"This year's home appliance subsidies are available immediately upon purchase, with no waiting time. Since the policy was implemented, we have sold more than 1,000 home appliances. Over 90% of the home appliances in our store are eligible for the national subsidy. Well-known brands such as Midea and Haier are particularly popular among customers," said merchant Gong Li. In addition to the government's consumption subsidies, a "three-free" service has also been launched: no charge for home visits, disassembly, or transportation of old appliances, saving consumers both money and effort.

The newly implemented purchase subsidies for digital products such as mobile phones, tablets, smartwatches, and fitness trackers have become a major highlight of the expanded "two new" policies. "Most consumers have clear targets and head straight for the subsidized products," said merchants. "Consumers approve of the transparent 'instant deduction' rules." During the visit, it was learned that after the policy was implemented, the sales of products participating in the national subsidy increased significantly. The process of obtaining the national subsidy is also very convenient. Consumers only need to bring their bank cards and identification cards and download the UnionPay QuickPass app to claim the subsidy.

"To promote the renewal and replacement of consumer goods, we have increased mobilization efforts, encouraging more merchants to participate in the national subsidy policy and actively guiding merchants to prepare relevant qualification materials," said a person in charge of the Yingshan County Bureau of Commerce and Economic Cooperation. Currently, more than 100 enterprises in the county are participating in the renewal and replacement of consumer goods, with 4,782 home appliance declarations and sales amounting to over 10 million yuan.

At the same time, the county's movie-going trend continues to rise, hotel banquet reservations are booming, and shopping malls and supermarkets are bustling with people... These scenes all demonstrate the vibrant consumer market in the Year of the Snake.

Moving forward, Yingshan County will continue to intensify the implementation of the "two new" policies, holding various characteristic promotional activities in different regions, industries, and time slots to further tap into consumer potential and promote sustained consumption growth.

Focusing on the Industrial Chain to Attract Investment: Projects Ignite the "Powerful Engine" for High-Quality Development

"Recruitment and investment work cannot wait, slow down, or remain seated. A moment's delay could mean missing out on potential investors," said a person in charge of the Yingshan County Bureau of Commerce and Economic Cooperation. On the 15th day of the first lunar month, the Lantern Festival, while families across the country were lighting up their homes for reunion, the county's recruitment team was already conducting intensive investment Workflow coordination in Jiangxi, visiting more than 10 potential enterprises within a week and firing the "first shot" of investment attraction in the Year of the Snake with a "competitive and practical" style.
