Sichuan Nanchong: Longmen Middle School Holds 2025 Publicity Work Conference

In an effort to further consolidate publicity efforts and advance the school's publicity work to support high-quality development, Longmen Middle School in Nanchong, Sichuan Province, held its 2025 Publicity Work Conference on March 13. Executive Principal Zhang Limei and Deputy Party Secretary Tang Bing attended and spoke at the meeting, which was attended by publicity officers and individuals recognized for excellence in annual publicity work. The conference was presided over by Deputy Party Secretary Tang Bing.

The meeting began with Deputy Party Secretary Tang Bing leading the publicity officers in studying some important discourses on publicity and ideological work. He then summarized the school's publicity work in 2024. The summary objectively pointed out the overall effectiveness and specific implementation of the work, emphasizing the need to further strengthen publicity team building, the role of publicity officers, and campus network public opinion control. He also outlined the key points for the school's publicity work in 2025.

During the meeting, Deputy Party Secretary Tang Bing read out the school's commendation document, and Executive Principal Zhang Limei presented certificates of honor to those recognized as "Outstanding Individuals in Publicity Work" for the year 2024.

In the exchange and training session, Li Juan, an officer from the Publicity and Education Department, conducted a publicity business training session titled "Principles and Shooting Techniques of Mobile Phone Photography" for the publicity officers. The training covered four aspects: understanding mobile phone lenses, discovering with a photographer's eye, composition and expression, and the use of different shot sizes.

Executive Principal Zhang Limei delivered the concluding remarks of the meeting. She pointed out that publicity work is indispensable in the school's new development phase, and the responsibility to boost publicity is inescapable. She emphasized the need to deeply understand the significance of the school's publicity work in terms of implementing the responsibility system for ideological work, following the school's development strategy, and consolidating new development efforts. She called for increased efforts in using publicity to support key school initiatives, mobilizing the initiative of the publicity team, and forming a comprehensive publicity framework. She made three key demands: first, to strengthen the standardization and management of publicity and continuously improve service capabilities; second, to enhance the construction of the publicity team and strive to build a comprehensive publicity structure; and third, to reinforce the implementation and assessment of work, and strengthen the application of evaluation results.
