Nanchong Film Industry Vocational College wins double silver in its first World University Competition

On September 8th, the news and communication competition (vocational group) of the 2025 World Vocational College Skills Competition was successfully concluded at Ningxia Vocational and Technical College of Finance and Economics. After fierce competition, the two participating teams sent by Nanchong Film Industry Vocational College stood out from the 122 participating teams in the vocational group with solid professional knowledge, excellent skill level, and stable on-site performance, and both won silver awards.

The World Vocational College Skills Competition is currently the highest standard and most influential global vocational college student skills competition event. This competition is jointly organized by multiple ministries and units such as the Ministry of Education and the National Development and Reform Commission. The track focuses on the field of information and communication technology, with the goal of cultivating versatile talents. On the competition field, the school selected students majoring in photography and video technology, radio and television directing, broadcasting and hosting, including Zhou Hang, Jiang Wanghao, Liu Dongchen, and Solangzaxi, to form the first team of Nanchong Film Industry Vocational College, and Zhao Yuqiu, Ding Ning, Mo Ziyi, and Sun Jianhao to form the second team of Nanchong Film Industry Vocational College. Under the careful guidance of teachers Wang Zeren, Xia Xia, Shen Tian, Zhu Jiajia, Xu Lin, Gao Jianwei, and others, they calmly faced the challenge and strived for excellence. With solid professional theoretical knowledge, exquisite and skilled operating skills, outstanding innovation and problem-solving abilities, and excellent teamwork spirit, after 48 days of training and competition, they finally won two silver awards, fully demonstrating their abilities. The outstanding style and hardcore strength of vocational college students in the new era of China!

During the preparation period, the school attaches great importance to this competition. The group and school leaders have visited the training sites of the two teams multiple times, communicated face-to-face with teachers and students, guided and helped the participating teams continuously improve their project plans, polished details, and inquired about the preparation situation and training difficulties of the contestants in detail.
