Sichuan Oriental Education Group: United in Efforts to Achieve Excellence, Drawing a Blueprint for a New Chapter

On March 7, the 2024 Work Summary and Commendation Conference, as well as the 2025 Work Deployment Meeting of Sichuan Oriental Education Group, was held at the Cultural Arts Center of Nanchong Film Industry Vocational College. The Party Committee Secretary, Chairman, and President of the Group, Kou Delin, attended and delivered a speech.

In his speech, Kou Delin reviewed the achievements of the Group over the past year. He pointed out that under the united efforts, solidarity, and hard work of all Oriental Education staff, the Group's various undertakings have advanced steadily and achieved remarkable results.

Nanchong Film Industry Vocational College has made simultaneous progress in teaching and basic construction, achieved new breakthroughs in enrollment and employment, and won numerous awards both domestically and internationally. The Sichuan Science and Technology Medical and Health Department has reaped many fruits through competition-driven teaching and learning, with highlights in internship and employment. Nanchong No. 11 Middle School has consistently ranked among the top schools of its kind in the city and achieved excellent results in the college entrance examination. The Vocational Education Center has made progress in team building, continuously breaking through and improving in secondary vocational education, vocational training, and continuing education. The Green Kind Appleergarten has adhered to quality and characteristic development, actively promoted curriculum innovation, and further enhanced its reputation and popularity. Nanchong Oriental School has innovated concepts, improved quality and capabilities, and opened a new situation. Blue Sky Driving School has focused on safety, stability, and quality, and its driving training and examination business has developed steadily.

Kou Delin emphasized that facing new challenges in the new era, the Group insists on leading high-quality development with high-quality Party building, solidifying ideological guidance, organizational construction, and talent team building, and planning development with a far-sighted strategic vision. The Group will continue to integrate resources comprehensively, expand its business layout in multiple fields, and make breakthroughs in strengthening the construction of a scientific and technological innovation system and promoting industrial upgrading and integration. The Group will also implement meticulous management and quality improvement in all business sectors and work, pay attention to humanistic care, strengthen corporate culture construction, promote the spirit of brilliance, and build a happy Oriental.

Kou Delin required that in the new year, with the further expansion of the business map, the Group must closely revolve around the "one body, two wings" development strategy. Unit leaders must resolutely implement the Group's decisions and arrangements, consciously obey the Group's overall planning and personnel and work arrangements, and ensure smooth communication of the Group orders's. It is necessary to focus on the governance work of the "top leaders," ensuring responsibility and integrity. Leading cadres must take the lead in abiding by laws and regulations, making decisions, managing, and handling affairs according to the law. They should lead all employees to improve quality and efficiency, integrate resources, and vigorously focus on quality and benefits. They must also strengthen their own learning, continuously improve political and professional qualities, adhere to "dual responsibilities in one post," and establish and improve safety management systems and emergency plans. The Group should focus on new industries and fields such as artificial intelligence, digital technology, film and media, and study tours, and vigorously promote the integration of industry education and to lay a solid foundation for high-quality development.

At the meeting, important documents from the central, provincial, and municipal levels were conveyed and studied. The "Notice on Clarifying the Division of Labor of Group Leaders" was announced. The Executive Vice President of the Group, Zou Peng, Vice President Yi Yanfa, and the Deputy Secretary of the Group Party Committee, Yang Tianwu, respectively delivered work reports on their respective divisions. The meeting also commended 95 outstanding individuals, 26 excellent Party members and Party affairs workers, and advanced collectives from the year 2024.

More than 200 people attended the meeting, including members of the Group Party Committee and Board of Directors, secretaries of Party organizations of various units of the Group, middle-level and above cadres of the Group's departments and member units, and the commended outstanding individuals. (By Yi Qinghai and Tang Min)
