Promoting the Spirit of Rule of Law and Strengthening Legal Discipline Education

To further improve the evaluation and promotion work, in December, the School of Film and Television at Nanchong Film Industry Vocational College took the "December 4th" Constitution Publicity Day as an opportunity to carry out a one-month "8th Five-Year" legal publicity and education month activity across the entire school. Since the end of November 2024, the college has distributed learning materials such as the "Constitution of the People's Republic of China," "Nanchong Film Industry Vocational College Student Status Management Implementation Details," and "Nanchong Film Industry Vocational College Student Disciplinary Measures" to all teachers and students. A total of 136 on-site competition questions were compiled, and then each counselor selected 3 students to form a participating team for the final on-site knowledge competition. After several rounds of selection, a total of 9 teams participated in the on-site competition.

On the evening of December 25th, the "8th Five-Year" Legal Knowledge Competition of the School of Film and Television was held in the second-floor studio of the school's arts center. The event was hosted by the School of Film and Television, organized by the college's general branch, and co-organized by the student union. He Weidong, the vice president of the school and dean of the School of Film and Television, and Zhao Yong, the party branch secretary of the college, attended. The competition attracted more than 600 students from various majors to watch and learn, with a warm atmosphere.

"I hope that students can form a consciousness of knowing the law, learning the law, abiding by the law, and using the law through this activity, and deepen their understanding of legal knowledge and school discipline and regulations through the competition, thereby enhancing the concept of the rule of law and laying a solid foundation for future learning and life," said Zhao Yong in his opening speech. He indicated that the knowledge competition is not only a test of students' grasp of legal knowledge but also an exercise and enhancement of their legal thinking and capabilities.

The competition was divided into three rounds: the first round consisted of 24 mandatory questions that each participating team had to answer within a specified time; the second round consisted of 36 snatch questions, with each team answering through a snatch device; the third round consisted of risk question drawing, where each team chose one question from easy, medium, and difficult types to answer.

After the host detailed the rules, process, and participating teams of the competition, it officially began!

As the competition officially proceeded, the atmosphere on site became increasingly tense and enthusiastic. During the competition, all participants closely cooperated, actively answered, and fully demonstrated the solid constitutional knowledge, deep legal awareness, and familiarity with school discipline and regulations of contemporary college students with their good spirit, keen snatching, skilled mandatory answering, and daring to strive in drawing answers, winning warm applause from the teachers and students present.

The audience was not to be outdone, actively participating in the interactive sessions, together creating a good atmosphere for everyone to learn, understand, and use the law.

In the end, the team led by Nie Chuanqi, the Deep Blue team (Xu Xin, Sheng Yiyu, Gao Yanhui) won the championship. The Xiaobai team (Liu Zhongze, Zhu Sheng, Pan Junlin), you say anything team (Hu Zhaoxuan, Tian Zihan, Xu Zhongdi), and the Smart Law Shield team (Han Yitong, Xia Shuang, Zheng Penghui) won the third prize, and the Smart Law Together team (Hou Qixiang, Wang Shengliang, Zhu Minggui), the Excellence team (Yuan Ruolan, Rao Ying, Guo Niangu), and the Law Popularization Pioneer team (Li Jingran, Qin Wanxiang, Zhang Henwei) won the excellent award.

After the competition, Teacher Zong Qinghui made a summary speech. She first thanked all the staff present for their hard work, as their silent dedication and careful preparation made the competition proceed smoothly and achieve complete success. At the same time, she hopes that students can continue to maintain this enthusiasm for learning and apply legal knowledge to real life, becoming good citizens who abide by discipline and have a sense of responsibility.

The "8th Five-Year" Legal Knowledge Competition, as an important part of the legal publicity and education month activities, not only tested the students' grasp of legal knowledge but also exercised their legal thinking and capabilities. Through the form of competition, teachers and students learned legal knowledge in a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere, enhancing the concept of the rule of law and contributing to the construction of a harmonious society.
