Sichuan Nanchong: Longmen Middle School Conducts Themed Party Day Activities in Mianyang

To further inherit the red genes of revolutionary martyrs, promote the great spirit of earthquake resistance and relief, strengthen the consciousness of the Chinese nation as a community, and accumulate spiritual strength for unity and progress, the Party Committee of Longmen Middle School in Nanchong, Sichuan Province, organized all party members and representatives honored with "Advanced Individual" awards at the district level or above to participate in themed Party Day activities in Beichuan County and Zitong County of Mianyang, under the theme of "Promoting the Spirit of National Unity and Striving for the Consciousness of the Chinese Nation as a Community," from December 12-13 and 17-18 in two batches.

At the 5·12 Wenchuan Earthquake Memorial Museum, everyone listened attentively to the guide's introduction and visited various exhibition halls. Physical artifacts from the earthquake-stricken areas were presented before the visitors, serving as a constant reminder of the enduring pain caused by the disaster. At the earthquake ruins of the old town in Beichuan, participants deeply mourned the fellow countrymen who perished in the earthquake and listened to touching stories about the rescue and reconstruction efforts.

At the Shiyi Village in Beichuan County, a national unity and progress education base, party members and faculty deepened their understanding of the significant achievements made in the cause of national unity and progress, feeling the warmth and strength of the Chinese national family.

In Zitong County's Two Bombs City, through visits and listening to explanations, everyone learned about the development history of China's nuclear weapons and the tremendous contributions made by scientists to national security. They laid wreaths to express their profound respect for the scientists.

This themed Party Day activity has enhanced the national pride and cohesion among party members and faculty. Many expressed that they will take this event as an opportunity to inherit the red genes, promote the great spirit of earthquake resistance and relief, and strengthen the consciousness of the Chinese nation as a community. They are committed to educating people for the Party and the country, and contributing to the high-quality development of the school with renewed and greater strength.
