Sichuan Nanchong: Longmen Middle School Holds Expert Lecture on "Prevention and Strategies for Campus Emergency Events"
To further strengthen campus safety management and enhance the ability of all teachers and students to respond to emergency events, ensuring the harmony and stability of the campus, on December 20th, Longmen Middle School in Nanchong, Sichuan Province, specially invited Zhu Bin, Deputy Director of the Information Security Section of the Municipal Education and Sports Bureau, to deliver a special lecture titled "Prevention and Strategies for Campus Emergency Events" for all faculty, staff, and the security team. The lecture was attended by Executive Principal Zhang Limei and presided over by Vice Principal Zhang Hongbo.
Drawing on his extensive experience and professional knowledge, Director Zhu provided an in-depth and accessible explanation of the definition of campus emergency events, emphasizing the importance of raising campus safety awareness in the current social context. He pointed out that campus emergency events include, but are not limited to, natural disasters, public health incidents, student injury accidents, and various collective events, each of which requires corresponding prevention and response strategies.
Subsequently, Director Zhu focused on the prevention and response measures for student injury accidents. Starting with typical cases, he detailed the causes of accidents, liability determination, and how to effectively reduce the occurrence of accidents through strengthened safety education, improved facility management, and the establishment of rapid response mechanisms. He particularly emphasized the key role of home-school cooperation in preventing student injury accidents, encouraging parents to work hand in hand with schools to create a safer learning and living environment for children.
In response to various collective campus emergency events, Director Zhu shared a series of scientifically effective emergency plans and disposal processes. He stressed that in the face of emergencies, it is crucial to remain calm, quickly activate emergency plans, and strengthen communication and coordination with higher authorities, public security, medical institutions, and other organizations to ensure smooth information flow and effective resource integration, in order to control the situation as quickly as possible and protect the safety of teachers and students to the greatest extent.
After the lecture, attendees expressed that listening to the lecture had given them a profound understanding of campus safety issues, strategies, and measures, and further enhanced their sense of safety responsibility of "being responsible for their domain" and "dual responsibilities in one post". The school will continue to adhere to the principle of "safety first, prevention oriented", carry out safety work in a solid manner, and strive to build a safe campus, diligently protecting the physical and mental health of teachers and students and campus safety.
