Sichuan Nanchong: Longmen Middle School Holds the 11th Trade Union and Faculty Representative Conference

To further promote the participation of faculty and staff in school affairs management and to inject new vitality and momentum into the school's trade union endeavors, as well as to better facilitate democratic governance and the school's new development, on December 20th, Longmen Middle School in Nanchong, Sichuan Province, convened the 11th Trade Union and Faculty Representative Conference, as well as the inaugural Women's Committee election.

At 3:00 PM, the conference solemnly opened with all attending representatives singing the national anthem.

The conference first listened to the work report by the school's executive principal, Zhang Limei, titled "Work Report of the 10th Faculty and Staff Representative Congress of Longmen Middle School, Nanchong, Sichuan Province." Principal Zhang objectively and comprehensively summarized the school's work, especially the outstanding achievements made since taking the lead, from deepening party construction, strengthening hardware support, improving evaluation mechanisms, reinforcing team building, refining moral education measures, to enhancing safety management. She scientifically proposed the goal of building the school into a historical, beautiful campus with a strong scholarly atmosphere and a fine learning environment.

The conference also heard the trade union work report by the school's trade union chair, Wan Caixia, titled "Work Report of the 10th Trade Union of Longmen Middle School, Nanchong, Sichuan Province." Chair Wan objectively and comprehensively summarized the work of the 10th trade union from focusing on ideological guidance, concentrating on school development, practicing rights protection services, enriching cultural life, caring for faculty and staff, and emphasizing foundational strengthening.

The conference read the approval documents from the municipal trade union and women's federation, and passed the relevant election methods. After a legal and democratic election, the 11th trade union committee members and chairpersons, the trade union's financial review committee members and director, the women's committee members, the inaugural Women's Committee members and director, and the 11th faculty representative congress executive committee were elected.

The newly elected 11th trade union chair, Wan Caixia, and the inaugural Women's Committee director, Jiao Yuxiao, made statements at the conference.

The executive principal, Zhang Limei, delivered the concluding speech of the conference. She fully affirmed the effective work of the previous representatives and committee members and expressed high hopes for the new representatives and committee members. She encouraged them to serve as researchers, service providers, propagandists, supervisors, and safety officers, contributing wisdom and strength to the high-quality development of the school.

The conference concluded successfully with the singing of the majestic Internationale.
