Financial Knowledge "Night" Class: Talking about Safety Amidst the Bustle of Daily Life
In an effort to strengthen the protection of financial consumers' rights and enhance the public's ability to guard against financial risks, on the afternoon of March 14, a "3.15 Financial Consumer Rights Protection Education and Publicity" themed event was held at the 1227 Plaza in Shunqing District, Nanchong. The event was jointly organized by the Nanchong Branch of China Postal Savings Bank, the Nanchong Shunqing District Committee of the Communist Youth League, the Southeast Subdistrict Youth League Working Committee, and Nanchong Film Industry Vocational College, under the guidance of the Nanchong Regulatory Branch of the National Financial Supervision Administration. The event attracted over 600 citizens through a model combining "artistic performance + scenario-based education + immersive interaction," integrating financial knowledge into everyday life to help build a safe and harmonious financial consumption environment.
The African drum performance of "Lijiang Trilogy" by the West Lake Youth Night School teacher team showcased the firm determination to build a strong financial defense with its rhythmic beats. The cheongsam show "Women Are Like Books" cleverly blended traditional cultural aesthetics with the concept of financial rights protection. With its meticulous expression, it conveyed the core value that "protecting financial rights requires the precision and delicacy of embroidery," resonating strongly with the audience.
After the main venue activities concluded, the education zone was extended to the densely populated night market area of 1227. The Nanchong Branch established a financial knowledge popularization corridor in the night market, systematically displaying key knowledge points such as anti-fraud and the eight rights of financial consumers through pictorial panels and case analysis. The immersive interactive experience area featured fun games like the Rights Protection Wisdom Arena, where citizens could win customized anti-fraud bags and financial knowledge booklets by answering questions and participating in interactive games. Over 100 promotional items were distributed in total.
The consultation service area set up dedicated booths for the elderly, teenagers, and new urban residents. Bank staff, community police officers, and youth league volunteers jointly provided one-on-one answers to questions on hot topics such as preventing telecom fraud, illegal fundraising, money laundering, and credit management. On the day, over 1,200 brochures were distributed, and more than 300 people were consulted.
Moving forward, the Nanchong Branch of China Postal Savings Bank will deepen the cooperation mechanism among government, banks, schools, and communities. It will fully advance the "Five Entries" project for financial knowledge and simultaneously build a digital education matrix to expand its reach. This will promote the universal, comprehensive, and long-term education and publicity of financial consumer rights protection.
