Campus Competition Exhibition Style Tuberculosis Science Popularization and Health Protection

On the afternoon of October 22, the primary election of the campus tuberculosis prevention and control knowledge publicity contest of "Talking about tuberculosis prevention in the voice of youth" in Gaoping District, Nanchong City was held in Nanchong Traffic Technical School. Bai Lin from the Gaoping District Center for Disease Control and Prevention in Nanchong City, Zhou Rong from the Gaoping District Volunteer Association in Nanchong City, and Tang Wei, the head of the Student Department at Nanchong Transportation Technical School, participated in the event.

This activity was jointly carried out by Nanchong Gaoping District Health Bureau, Nanchong Gaoping District Education and Sports Bureau, Nanchong Gaoping District Disease Prevention and Control Center, and Nanchong Traffic Technical School, aiming to further promote the "hundreds of millions of volunteers tuberculosis prevention and control knowledge dissemination action", guide young students to become tuberculosis prevention and control knowledge propagandists, and popularize tuberculosis prevention and control core knowledge.

At the competition site, the contestants focused on the core knowledge of tuberculosis prevention and control, from the causes, transmission routes, common symptoms to scientific prevention and control, and carried out the propaganda step by step and in simple terms. The contestants explained the risk of droplet transmission with vivid pictures, focused on popularizing practical protection skills such as cough etiquette and seven step washing technique, and explained the difference between active tuberculosis and latent tuberculosis infection, to help students further understand the causes, typical symptoms and scientific prevention points of tuberculosis. The lecture content is professional and detailed, closely related to students' daily lives, combining knowledge and practicality, and the on-site atmosphere is lively.

After fierce competition, the event ultimately selected first, second, third prizes and excellent awards.
