Yingshan, Sichuan: New recruits scheduled to receive red culture education

The theme of this September's "National Defense Education Month" is "Promoting the Great Long March Spirit and Building a Strong National Defense Together". Recently, the People's Armed Forces Department, County Party Committee Propaganda Department, and County Ethnic Affairs Office of Yingshan County, Nanchong City, Sichuan Province organized a series of red culture education activities for this year's new recruits.

During the event, newly recruited soldiers were scheduled to enter the patriotic education base of Yingshan County Archives. Everyone stopped and watched in front of precious historical materials, listened carefully to the staff's introductions, and comprehensively understood Yingshan's long history, culture, and rich humanistic heritage. The image of Yingshan's revolutionary predecessors fighting bravely in the years of war came to mind. The new recruits stated that they will follow in the footsteps of their predecessors, actively participate in the national defense cause, and dedicate their youth and blood to the prosperity of the motherland and the development of their hometown.

The series of activities also invited Ren Yinghui, the director of the Cultural and Historical Research Institute of Yingshan County Political Consultative Conference, to give a keynote speech. With the theme of "Promoting the Spirit of the Times and Inheriting the Red Gene", he deeply expounded on the great national spiritual lineage, the heroic deeds of Yingshan heroes and influential figures, comprehensively demonstrated the gathering of outstanding talents and the long history and culture of Yingshan, as well as the beautiful scenic spots and historical sites, inspiring everyone to learn from the role models of the times, inherit the red gene, carry forward the red bloodline, and be committed to green military camps and serving the motherland.

During the event, the new recruits also gathered to watch classic red movies.

The newly recruited soldiers have expressed their determination to study hard, train their skills, strengthen their beliefs, forge the military soul, enhance their national defense awareness, strengthen their sense of mission, turn their patriotism into a patriotic act, strive to become qualified soldiers of the people, and not disappoint the trust and expectations of their parents and fellow villagers.
