Special lectures empower family education

On September 5th, the Sichuan Women's Park (Sichuan Women's and Children's Center) hosted a series of promotional activities for family education in Yingshan County, Nanchong City in 2026. The activities were held at Xicheng Middle School and Yunfeng Primary School in the county, focusing on the training and empowerment of the backbone team through the "Sharing the Worries Lecture Hall". With the support of the family education backbone training project in underdeveloped counties in Sichuan Province and the promotion of the construction of the urban-rural family education service system project, through systematic and professional training, we aim to promote the construction of a family education guidance service system that covers both urban and rural areas and is inclusive and shared.

Two special lectures will be held during the event. Yang Xuemei, Associate Professor of Psychology and Director of the Action Research Center for Life Education and Career Planning of College Students at Sichuan Normal University, gave a speech titled "Family Responsibilities in the New Era: In Depth Interpretation and Rural Implementation of the Family Education Promotion Law". Combining with the "Sichuan Province Family Education Promotion Regulations" implemented on September 1 this year, she interpreted the family education responsibilities that families should bear in the new era, deeply analyzed the deficiencies and remedial methods of family education in underdeveloped counties, and provided scientific and feasible ideas and methods for carrying out family education and family school cooperation work.

Rao Xiaojun, Executive Director of the Family Education Guidance Center in Sichuan Province, gave a lecture on parent-child relationships under the implementation of the Family Education Promotion Law. Based on the construction of parent-child relationships and real cases, she systematically analyzed the educational difficulties commonly faced by modern families and put forward down-to-earth and practical family education suggestions, which have strong guiding significance for improving family education concepts and reshaping warm and harmonious families.

The special lecture is easy to understand, with both theoretical height and practical depth, which has solved our confusion in family education for many years and has strong operability. Hu Qiaoling, a parent of Class 2, Grade 2 of Yunfeng Primary School, said that she will apply the family education concepts and methods learned today to practical life education, establish correct family education concepts, fulfill the responsibility of family education, and safeguard the healthy and happy growth of children.

It is understood that the backbone team training and empowerment action carried out by the Focus Lecture Hall this time is an important practice under the framework of the bottom support deployment of the Provincial Party Committee and Provincial Government, and the "Care '39' · Joint Action" work of the Provincial Women's Federation. It aims to promote family education work in underdeveloped counties in Sichuan Province, enhance the concept and level of collaborative education among school teachers, parents, and all sectors of society, and improve the quality of family education services in counties through systematic lectures to address the current uneven distribution of family education resources in urban and rural areas, weak capacity of grassroots service stations, and prominent psychological education needs of urban families.
