Recently, staff from State Grid Nanchong Power Supply Company visited the areas where migrant workers return to their hometowns, such as Bencongya Village and Heishanya Village in Taiping Town, to provide on-site services and conduct special inspections on electricity usage, ensuring that returnees have access to "safe electricity and warm heart".

As the Spring Festival approaches, migrant workers are returning home one after another, and the electricity load in rural areas is gradually increasing. In response to the potential issues of electricity bill payment, electric vehicle charging, and daily electricity safety that returnees may face, Nanchong Power Supply Company has deployed in advance to set up a "Green Channel for Returned People" at convenient power service points in its jurisdiction, facilitating the provision of various electricity services to returnees in a timely manner.

On that day, the staff gathered to explain the online payment process, electricity fee inquiry, and business processing methods of the "Online State Grid" APP to the returning personnel, and provided on-site answers to electricity inquiries. Subsequently, the staff took the initiative to provide indoor wiring and electrical equipment safety inspections for migrant workers who had just returned home. The focus was on detecting and eliminating unused wiring, switches, sockets, and other facilities for a long time, and guiding returnees to use heating equipment such as electric heaters and electric blankets correctly. For families of elderly people living alone whose children have not yet returned home, while conducting electricity safety inspections, staff also have cordial conversations with the elderly to gain a detailed understanding of their family living conditions and the situation of their children returning home, and leave their contact information.

With the popularization of electric vehicles in rural areas, charging safety is also a key focus of daily inspections and visits. The staff carefully inspected the electric vehicle charging plugs and wires at the doorstep of the villagers, explained the safety precautions for charging to the villagers, and reminded them to avoid behaviors such as privately pulling and connecting wires, using unqualified charging equipment, etc.

This special activity visited more than 30 households returning to their hometowns, distributed more than 200 safety electricity promotion materials, and solved 12 electricity problems on site.
