The Nine Ranks of Spring and Autumn are a journey of wind and rain, and the passion of youth is passed down through generations. In order to commemorate the 90th anniversary of the December 9th Movement, deeply implement the requirements of the Communist Youth League's ideological guidance work, inherit the patriotic, progressive, democratic, and scientific spirit contained in the December 9th Movement, and guide young members to deeply understand the historical heritage and contemporary connotation of the patriotic spirit, on the evening of December 8th, the Youth League Committee of Nanchong Film Industry Vocational College held a theme group day activity of "Remembering the Youth and Practicing the Original Aspiration of the December 9th Movement" in the sixth conference room. The school Youth League Committee, secretaries of various college Youth League branches, cadres of Youth League studies, members of the second Youth Horse Class, and representatives of new development members gathered together in a solemn atmosphere to receive the tempering and baptism of patriotism.

The event kicked off with the majestic and passionate national anthem, and all attendees stood solemnly in tribute. The loud singing echoed through time and space, stirring people's hearts and carrying infinite love and high respect for the motherland, instantly igniting the patriotic sentiment on site.

Subsequently, Yuan Xinpei, the head of the Organization Department of the School Youth League Committee, announced the list of newly developed members. The representatives of the new members lined up one by one with excitement and pride, while the representatives of the old members solemnly wore the league emblem for them. The shining emblem is not only a symbol of the identity of Communist Youth League members, but also embodies the earnest care of the Party organization and the responsibility entrusted by the Youth League organization. Under the light, it reflects the resolute and longing faces of the new members.

In front of the bright flag of the Communist Youth League, all new members raised their right fists and solemnly swore under the leadership of the oath leader. The resounding and powerful oath echoed in every corner of the venue, which was not only a solemn commitment of the new members to the league organization, but also a firm declaration of their youth mission and determination to forge ahead, demonstrating the responsibility and commitment of young people in the new era to serve the country.

After the oath taking ceremony, the new member representative Deng Zhen took the stage to speak. Excellent member representative Gao Ran, based on her own insights on ideological refinement and practical growth under the guidance of the Youth League organization, encouraged new members to cherish their youth, inherit the red genes, bravely stand at the forefront of the times, strive to be pioneers and models in the journey of the new era, and add glory to the Youth League flag with practical actions. The speeches of the two representatives were sincere, heartfelt, and full of deep affection, triggering strong resonance among the members present. Li Songbai, the full-time deputy secretary of the school Youth League Committee, gave a lecture on the theme of "Remembering the turbulent years and inheriting the power of faith", focusing on "history, faith, and responsibility". He recalled the 1935 "December 9th" Movement: at the time of national crisis, students in Beiping held up slogans such as "Stop the civil war, unite with the outside world" and petitioned, using patriotism and sincerity to stir up a flood of salvation and create a monument of the spirit of "patriotism, progress, democracy, and science".

Subsequently, he combined "The Silence of Glory" with the stories of Taiwanese underground workers such as Wu Shi and Zhu Feng who sacrificed their lives to serve the country during the White Terror, to explain the continuous belief in "saving the nation and preserving its existence" and "national rejuvenation". He put forward three hopes for young people in the new era: to strengthen their faith, to deeply study the history of the Party and the country, and to understand their theoretical advantages; Practice responsibility and transform patriotism into actions such as learning, scientific research, and volunteer service; Inheriting the spirit, internalizing the red genes through creation and research.
