Famous musician Luo Bing appointed as a visiting professor at Nanchong Film Industry Vocational College

On December 3rd, renowned Chinese musician, poet, and writer Professor Luo Bing was invited to visit Nanchong Film Industry Vocational College and was appointed as a visiting professor at the Southern Film Academy. He gave a special presentation titled "Symphony of Music and Light and Shadow". School leaders Li Taibin, He Weidong, and Tian Jianguo attended the event. Library director Cao Li, Vice Dean of the School of Film and Television Huang Junmei, and representatives of the School of Film and Television faculty and students gathered at the scene to jointly participate in this cultural and artistic exchange event.

At the beginning of the event, Principal Li Taibin presented a guest professor appointment letter to Teacher Luo Bing. As a talented and gold medal lyricist and composer at Peking University, Professor Luo Bing has created many popular classic works such as "I Never Understand Your Tenderness" and "Dreaming of a Water Town". He has repeatedly won the National Top Ten Golden Songs and Best Lyrics and Composition Awards, and enjoys the reputation of "Half of Luo" in the industry. His joining will inject new inspiration and vitality into the talent cultivation and discipline construction of Southern Film and Television Art.

After the appointment ceremony, Teacher Luo Bing donated his personal works to the Southern Film Library. Director Cao Li accepted the donated books on behalf of the school and stated that these works will provide valuable artistic nourishment for teachers and students, building a bridge to the world of poetic creation. From a bestselling author to a wandering troubadour, Luo Bing has always adhered to the creative philosophy of "troubadour has become the most important connection between me and the world", practicing his persistent pursuit of artistic spirit.

In the subsequent special lecture, Teacher Luo Bing deeply reviewed his personal artistic enlightenment and accumulation process around the two themes of "My Film Viewing History" and "Creation and Art Issues", and shared his creative experience and insights in music, literature and other fields. He also elaborated unique insights on current hot phenomena such as the wave of AI technology, the development of micro dramas, and the traffic economy, and encouraged the teachers and students present to adhere to their artistic aspirations, bravely express themselves, and continuously explore and realize personal value on the creative path.
