On September 29th, the 2025 China Shengzhong Lake International Boat Fishing Competition, one of the series of activities of the 14th China Shengzhong Lake International Fishing Competition, successfully concluded its schedule in the waters of Fenghuang Island, Shengzhong Lake, Southern County, Sichuan Province.

After fierce competition, Han Hui from Xinjiang won the championship and the largest single tailed prize with a total prize of 11000 US dollars, thanks to his excellent fishing skills and accurate control of the fish situation. Yue Bao, a fisherman from Xinjiang, won the runner up, while Han Songsong from Hubei won the third place. Foreign anglers Jones and Bruno achieved excellent results of 6th and 17th place respectively, showcasing the diverse competitive style of international boat fishing competitions.

It is reported that this international boating and fishing competition has attracted 80 athletes from 21 countries including the United States, the United Kingdom, and Australia. The competition will be held on two days, 28th and 29th, with a duration of 6 hours per day. The effective fish species caught include Mongolian red carp, bigmouth red carp, sea bass, mandarin fish, and other target fish in Asia. On each competition day, a maximum of 4 valid target fish with a body length of no less than 20 centimeters can be submitted for score entry. The total score will be ranked based on the total length of 12 fish caught on two competition days, and the top 20 and the largest single fish prize will be determined.
