On the afternoon of August 25th, the faculty and staff conference of Nanchong Film Industry Vocational College for the autumn semester of 2025 was held at the Literature and Art Center. All school leaders and over 400 faculty members gathered together to review summer work and plan the development blueprint for the new semester. The meeting was chaired by Zou Peng, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Executive Vice President.

He began with the line from Li Bai's poem "When the wind breaks through the waves, there will be times, and when the clouds sail, the sea will sail straight", encouraging all teachers and staff to remain firm in their confidence and face difficulties in the new situation of educational development. On behalf of the school leadership team, he extends sincere greetings to all faculty and staff for the new semester, expresses sincere gratitude to the teams and individuals who have been committed to promoting key work during the summer, and warmly welcomes the addition of more than 170 new teachers, 5 high-level talents, and the newly appointed vice president of the school.

Li Taibin elaborated on three core contents. In terms of learning and implementing the spirit of the group meeting, he emphasized the need to deeply grasp the high-quality development strategy of the group's "one body, two wings", integrate the school's film and television characteristic education and industry education integration practice into the overall layout of the group, achieve the "three in place" of learning, understanding, implementing, and innovating, especially promote the deep integration of AI and education and teaching, and improve the quality of talent cultivation empowered by technology.

When reviewing summer work, Li Taibin pointed out that the whole school has achieved remarkable results in focusing on the goals of "ensuring safety, focusing on quality, and promoting development". The Development Planning Department takes the lead in promoting the completion of the 14th Five Year Plan and the 15th Five Year Plan, forming two teams to prepare for the 2025 World Vocational College Skills Competition, and is one of only six participating teams in the news and communication category in the province; Each college actively meets the needs of the industry. The School of Management, the former School of Information Industry, and the School of Intelligent Manufacturing have visited over a hundred enterprises and signed a large number of school enterprise cooperation and internship training base agreements. Projects such as JD Digital Commerce Industry College have made phased progress; Accurate efforts are being made in enrollment and welcoming preparations, laying the foundation for ensuring the source of students for the new semester.

At the same time, Li Taibin also soberly analyzed the challenges currently faced by the school: the dual pressure of a decrease in the total number of students and insufficient recognition of private vocational education, the subversion of traditional education paradigms by artificial intelligence, some faculty members sticking to traditional teaching models, and urgent requirements for evaluating educational conditions. In response to these issues, he proposed a path of "change and breakthrough", which aims to reshape educational concepts and promote teachers to transform from traditional "teachers" to "human-machine collaborative designers"; To carry out AI training for all staff, cultivate AI teaching backbone in a hierarchical manner, and establish AI teaching innovation awards; To strengthen enrollment linkage, each secondary college should actively connect with new students and provide good welcome services; To deepen the integration of industry and education, promote the establishment of order classes and industry alliances to ensure employment; We need to accelerate the preparation of evaluation materials and ensure that all evaluation materials are ready before December.

At the end of the meeting, Li Taibin emphasized that safety assurance, teacher ethics and style construction, and party building guidance are the fundamental guarantees for the development of the school, and must be constantly emphasized. He pointed out that the essence of private education is "survival of the fittest", and in the era of artificial intelligence, it is even more necessary for "the fastest to win".
