In an effort to intensify the reform of academic and teaching styles and significantly enhance classroom efficiency, the School of Management at Nanchong Film Industry Vocational College has taken proactive measures, advancing academic rectification from multiple aspects, including teachers and students.

Teacher Actions: Innovating Teaching and Strict Management

On April 11, the School of Management held a working conference themed "Intensifying Academic and Teaching Style Reform, Significantly Enhancing Classroom Efficiency," attended by all full-time and part-time teachers. At the meeting, Dean Feng Chao of the School of Management analyzed the existing problems in current classroom teaching from both the student and teacher perspectives, providing direction for teachers' subsequent actions. Regarding teaching methods, the meeting emphasized discarding the traditional "lecture-only" approach and actively exploring diverse teaching methods. It also highlighted the rational use of modern educational technology to enhance classroom interactivity and cultivate innovative thinking, while avoiding over-reliance on technology. In terms of teaching management, teachers were urged to strictly enforce attendance policies and establish a "three-full" management system to create classrooms that are "three-have" (having clear goals, active participation, and effective feedback). A "dual-line" supervision mechanism was implemented to strengthen the monitoring of students' inappropriate classroom behaviors, promptly stop disciplinary violations, and maintain classroom order. Additionally, teachers were encouraged to closely monitor students' learning progress, establish a regular communication mechanism to identify problems in a timely manner, and provide targeted guidance. To improve teaching capabilities, teachers were advised to embrace the concept of lifelong learning, keep abreast of industry developments, actively participate in educational research activities, draw on advanced experiences, conduct teaching reforms, and optimize their professional knowledge structure. This ensures that teaching content is closely linked to practical applications, thereby cultivating students who better meet the demands of enterprises.

Student Actions: Strengthening Discipline and Self-Improvement

On April 13, the School of Management held a special class meeting on academic rectification themed "Strictly Adhering to Disciplinary Bottom Lines, Consolidating the Foundation for Professional Development," which was simultaneously conducted in all 39 classes, covering more than a thousand students. The meeting, problem-oriented, promoted in-depth academic construction through case analysis, interactive discussions, and commitment fulfillment. Class counselors combined school regulations and industry standards to lecture on classroom attendance, academic integrity, and behavioral norms. By playing videos of academic misconduct cases reported by the Ministry of Education and showing real stories of students whose academic progress was hindered by lax discipline, students were guided to recognize that "discipline is the lifeline of professional development." In response to issues such as "being late for class," "classroom mobile phone management," and "low self-study efficiency," each class formed rectification plans through group discussions. The 2023 E-commerce major class introduced a "study style supervision group" system, while students in the Film Production Management major initiated a "mobile phone-free classroom" campaign. The college also launched a tripartite linkage mechanism involving teachers, counselors, and students to ensure that problems were identified and resolved promptly. At the end of the meeting, all students pledged to adhere to the "Ten Musts and Ten Prohibitions" for students in the School of Management. Academic rectification is not only about disciplinary constraints but also a tempering of professional spirit. Management students, with a rigorous attitude, benchmark themselves against industry standards to lay a solid foundation for the future.

Academic Early Warning: Precise Assistance to Support Learning

On April 11, the School of Management held a special meeting on academic early warning, comprehensively sorting out related work. For students who may face academic issues, designated personnel were assigned to analyze their learning situations in detail, including course grades, attendance records, and the quality of homework completion. Based on specific problems, personalized assistance measures were formulated. For students with weak learning foundations, study groups were organized, and high-achieving students were paired with them for one-on-one help. For students with improper learning attitudes, counselors conducted heart-to-heart talks and communicated with parents to strengthen ideological education and correct their attitudes. Meanwhile, an academic early warning tracking mechanism was established to regularly check learning progress and adjust assistance measures in a timely manner, ensuring that early warning students improve their academic performance and successfully complete their studies.

Through coordinated actions by teachers and students, as well as a comprehensive academic early warning implementation plan, the School of Management at Nanchong Film Industry Vocational College is committed to advancing academic rectification in all aspects, improving teaching quality, and laying a solid foundation for students' future development.
