Strong Collaboration Promotes Industry-Education Integration, Paving a New Path for School-Media Development
On the afternoon of April 1, Xiang Chao, the Party Committee Secretary and Chairman of Nanchong Media Group, led a delegation to visit Nanchong Film Industry Vocational College for an inspection and exchange. Kou Delin, the Party Committee Secretary and Chairman of Sichuan Oriental Science and Education Group, and other college leaders accompanied them on a campus tour.
The delegation visited the campus's characteristic areas and professional training labs, including the Cultural Arts Center, lakeside landscape, news directing room of the School of Film and Television, planar photography studio, live-action photography studio, and AI animation production center. They also inquired about the college's recent achievements in film and television production and awards.
Subsequently, both parties held a strategic cooperation symposium, which was presided over by Zou Peng, the Executive Vice President and Deputy Party Secretary of the college.
At the symposium, Chairman Kou Delin warmly welcomed the leaders from the Media Group and introduced the group's industrial layout as well as the college's development history, talent cultivation, and future plans. He emphasized that the college has always been committed to training high-quality applied talents to meet market demands. He hoped that through this exchange, both sides could establish a sound cooperation mechanism to achieve resource sharing and complementary advantages. He looked forward to in-depth cooperation and new breakthroughs with the Media Group in multiple dimensions and fields. He pointed out that in recent years, the college has achieved good results with the care and support of leaders at all levels, all sectors of society, and partners. In the future, the college will leverage the Media Group's resources, market channels, and industry experience to accelerate the high-quality development of the college's integrated media industry, provide talent support for the regional cultural industry upgrade, and contribute to the economic and social development of Nanchong.
Xiang Chao, the Party Committee Secretary and Chairman of Nanchong Media Group, highly praised the college's educational achievements and commended Chairman Kou Delin as an entrepreneur with great educational passion and social responsibility. He expressed his anticipation for the cooperation between the two sides. Secretary Xiang proposed three directions for cooperation. First, to deepen interactive exchanges and promote innovative integration of concepts, technologies, and resources. Second, to expand pragmatic cooperation and accelerate the implementation of projects related to integrated media content industry, talent cultivation, and joint construction. Third, to establish a long-term mechanism to ensure the effectiveness of cooperation and create replicable examples of industry-education integration.
Leaders from Nanchong Film Industry Vocational College proposed follow-up work ideas, including jointly building an industry-education integration training center, advancing a "mutual faculty appointment" mechanism, and jointly developing courses. They emphasized empowering the cultivation of film and media talents through a "dual-subject" model of schools and enterprises. They looked forward to achieving in-depth integration of resources through "two-way empowerment" between the school and the media, and fully utilizing the advantages of both sides to conduct high-level cooperation in "talent, media, and industry."
Both parties held a strategic cooperation signing ceremony, with Kou Delin, Chairman of Sichuan Oriental Science and Education Group, and Zhang Tongtao, General Manager of Nanchong Media Group, signing the agreement on-site. A hiring ceremony was also held, with college leaders issuing part-time tutor appointment certificates to the teachers.
Sudandan, the representative of part-time tutors from the Media Group and the director of the city's integrated media center television department, said that they would assist the college in cultivating compound media talents who "understand concepts, master techniques, and are down-to-earth." They aim to precisely connect industry needs with educational resources, truly bridging the last mile from the classroom to the workplace. They will work in the same direction as Nanchong Film Industry Vocational College to jointly explore development and write a new chapter in media and education collaboration.
During the symposium, both sides also discussed specific modules of cooperation. This cooperation laid a solid foundation for their partnership and marked a new stage of "media + education" collaborative development in Nanchong. Focusing on three main lines of "resource interconnection, joint industry construction, and shared talent cultivation," both parties will jointly build a regional base for integrated film and media industry-education integration, injecting new kinetic energy into the high-quality development of the cultural industry in the Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Circle.
Leaders from the group and the college, including Zou Peng, Yang Tianwu, He Weidong, and Jie Xiaoqin, as well as heads and key teachers from the External Cooperation Management Office, School of Film and Television, and School of Art, participated in this event.
