Youth Ignites Faith, Struggle Shoulders Mission

In order to further strengthen the political guidance of young students at Nanchong Film Industry Vocational College and cultivate and deliver a group of young political backbone members with firm faith, outstanding abilities, excellent qualities, and solid politics for the Party, on the afternoon of April 2, the School Youth League Committee held the opening ceremony of the first "Youth Marxist Training Project" for university student cadres in 2025. Vice President and Party Committee member He Weidong attended the opening ceremony and spoke. The opening ceremony was also attended by Liu Lian, head of the Propaganda and United Front Department, Cao Junxue, dean of the School of Marxism, He Yuan, deputy director of the Party Committee Office, secretaries (deputy secretaries) of the secondary colleges, branch secretaries of the Youth League, counselors, and all trainees. The ceremony was presided over by Li Songbai, the full-time deputy secretary of the School Youth League Committee.

Amidst the stirring national anthem, the first "Youth Marxist Training Project" for university student cadres officially began.

Trainee representative Luo Jingping spoke on behalf of the trainees. She solemnly promised on behalf of the trainees to cherish this training opportunity, to deeply and systematically study the Marxist worldview and methodology, to read the original works, study the original texts, and understand the principles, and to learn to solve problems with the Marxist standpoint and viewpoint. She emphasized the importance of enhancing the "Four Consciousnesses," firmly believing in the "Four Confidences," and achieving the "Two Upholds." She expressed the determination to serve as a bridge connecting the Party with the youth, to aspire to become firm believers, active disseminators, and loyal practitioners of Marxism, and to lead all young people to grow and succeed.

Class advisor Cui Lu called on all trainees to use this training class as a "sail" and struggle as an "oar," and under the guidance of Marxist truth, to grow into new-era youth who have ideals, dare to take responsibility, can endure hardships, and are willing to strive.

Vice President and Party Committee member He Weidong spoke at the opening ceremony, expressing his hope that the trainees would firmly hold their beliefs, closely follow the Party, and strive to be new-era good youth with ideals, courage to take responsibility, ability to endure hardships, and willingness to strive. He encouraged them to write a youthful chapter for the modernization of China with determination and responsibility. He offered three suggestions to the students: First, to firmly hold on to their ideals and beliefs, and to replenish their spiritual calcium. Second, to adhere to the unity of knowledge and action, and to temper strong skills. Third, to disseminate the power of truth and to devote themselves to the great cause of building a strong country. He urged the students to keep the instructions in mind, to bravely shoulder their missions, to cherish the training opportunities, to strictly demand themselves, and to grow into backbone young Marxists, contributing to the development of the school and the rejuvenation of the nation.

Vice President He Weidong presented the flag to the first "Youth Marxist Project" class for university student cadres, with Shi Wei, a trainee and student part-time deputy secretary, receiving the flag. This symbolic act conveyed the responsibility and commitment embodied in the "Youth Marxist Training Project," inspiring the trainees to bravely shoulder their missions with a sense of honor, to strive and carry on the spirit in social practice. This solemn moment became a key symbol of gathering strength and moving forward with determination.

The ceremony concluded with the singing of the anthem of the Communist Youth League of China, "Glory to the Communist Youth League of China." The stirring melody and inspiring lyrics resonated as a youthful anthem, evoking a sense of mission and responsibility among the trainees. The ceremony ended on a vibrant and energetic note, marking a successful conclusion to the opening ceremony.

Arming the youth with the power of truth and inspiring them with the flavor of faith! Starting from the fundamental political positioning of being the Party's assistant and reserve force, the School Youth League Committee will place great importance on and effectively implement the "Youth Marxist Project." It will strengthen system construction, mobilize resources widely, build practical platforms, track and cultivate trainees in the long term, and make recommendations for their absorption.
