Care Warms Hearts, Practice Aids Growth

In order to gain a deep understanding of students' social practice situations and to strengthen care and guidance for students, recently, led by Vice President He Weidong of Nanchong Film Industry Vocational College, along with Feng Tao, the Party branch secretary of the college, Cheng Shudi, the assistant to the president, and Zhang Qiyu, the head of the New Energy Vehicle Technology Teaching and Research Office, as well as full-time teachers and counselors of the college, visited practice areas such as Bazhong, Dazhou, Chengdu, and Suining to offer consolation and guidance on the social practice of the 2024 cohort of students.

At each practice site, leaders and teachers gained in-depth knowledge of the students' work content, working environment, and living conditions. Vice President He Weidong fully affirmed the students' performance in practice. He patiently answered and provided guidance on the issues raised by the students, and assured them of the college's full support for their social practice activities, promising to resolve any concerns. He also reminded the students to pay attention to safety, to reasonably arrange their work and rest time, and to ensure their physical and mental health. The students shared their gains and insights from the practice, expressing gratitude for the training opportunities provided by the college.

Secretary Feng Tao had an amiable conversation with the students, inquiring in detail about the difficulties and problems encountered during the practice. He encouraged everyone to actively take the initiative, hold their positions firmly, and showcase the good demeanor of students from the School of Intelligent Manufacturing. He also paid attention to the students' living conditions, carefully inquiring about their accommodation and leisure arrangements. At the same time, he was concerned about the students' workload, reminding them to arrange their time reasonably and to balance work and rest.

Cheng Shudi fully affirmed the students' active participation in social practice and their efforts to enhance their capabilities. She encouraged them to cherish the opportunity for practice, to train themselves in the process, and to continuously accumulate experience to lay a solid foundation for their future career development.

Zhang Qiyu, the head of the New Energy Vehicle Technology Teaching and Research Office, along with full-time teachers and counselors, also communicated with the students, sharing their experiences and helping to solve practical difficulties. The teachers also communicated with the persons in charge of the social practice work to understand the students' overall performance and jointly explored how to better improve the effectiveness of students' social practice.

This visit and guidance activity allowed the students participating in social practice to deeply feel the college's care and support, greatly boosting their enthusiasm for practice. The students expressed that they would put more vigorous spirit into the practice, strive to improve themselves, and not disappoint the expectations of the college leaders and teachers, bringing honor to the college.
