Displaying the Military Charm, Forging the Soul of a Strong Nation

On December 24th, at the Starlight Square of Nanchong Transportation Technical School, military flags fluttered and slogans echoed loudly as a splendid autumn military training report performance for the national defense class was held. The school's leadership team, department heads, national defense class teachers, and instructors gathered in the square to witness the growth and transformation of the national defense class students.

The National Flag Guard kicked off the report performance with orderly and powerful steps. The guards, escorting the Five-Star Red Flag, stood tall like pines, their synchronized steps striking the ground like heavy hammers, each step resounding and ear-shattering.

First on display was the formation square composed of classes 19 and 20 from the 2024 level, dressed in uniform camouflage attire, marching in unison and vigorous steps following the instructors' commands. At the appropriate position in front of the review stand, they performed formation drills, including attention, at ease, straddle, and various turning and marching maneuvers, each movement reflecting high military standards and quality. Their eyes were firm, and their postures upright, fully displaying the demeanor and temperament of the national defense class students, earning rounds of applause from the audience. Next were the police baton and shield operation and emergency stick technique formations composed of classes 19 and 20 from the 2023 level. The students, wielding emergency sticks, performed vigorous and powerful movements with each strike full of vigor. They demonstrated a series of movements like chopping, covering, lifting, and flicking in a synchronized rhythm, showcasing the skill and power of emergency stick techniques. The police baton and shield operation performance pushed the atmosphere to a climax, with students holding batons and shields, forming a tight square. As commands were issued, their battle cries echoed throughout the campus, the waving of batons was vigorous, and the blocking with shields was as solid as a rock, each movement filled with strength and deterrence.

After the performance, Vice Principal Yan Lin provided comments. He fully affirmed the students' perseverance in training despite the hardships and thanked the instructors for their hard work. He emphasized that military training is an essential part of national defense education, which is crucial for cultivating students' qualities of enduring hardship and valuing both culture and martial arts, as well as improving their physical and mental qualities and sense of collective honor. He hopes that students will continue to maintain and promote their fine style, think diligently, train hard, and strive to be young people of the new era with ideals, capabilities, and responsibilities, contributing to the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.

This autumn report performance of the national defense class was not only a comprehensive inspection of the training results but also a vivid patriotic action and practice of national defense education. Through a series of military movement performances, it showcased good military quality and spirit, also allowing more students to understand the importance of national defense security. Next, the school will continue to carry out national defense training courses to forge more reserve students for the defense cause and make due contributions to the motherland's national defense endeavors.
