A new chapter on inter-school friendship and cooperation of the same spectrum

On the morning of March 21st, Yang Yang, vice president of Business School of Geely University, Li Shoukun, assistant director of Industry-University-Research Achievement Transformation Center, and Lu Ling, director of the International Economics and Trade Department of Business School, visited Nanchong Film Industry Vocational College for learning and exchange activities. Xie Xiaoqin, vice president of the school, Feng Chao, secretary of the Party branch and dean of the School of Management, and Peng Qin, assistant to the dean, attended the reception and attended the exchange meeting.

Subsequently, the two sides held an exchange meeting in the conference room on the second floor of Duxue Building, which was presided over by Xie Xiaoqin. Xie Xiaoqin introduced the theme of the conference and the participants, and briefly expounded the remarkable achievements made by the school in professional construction and personnel training since its establishment in 2020, as well as the awards won by teachers and students at all levels. Yang Yang of Geely University introduced the development of Geely University, the overall situation of running a school, as well as the professional setting of business schools and the achievements in the construction of teaching staff.

In the exchange session, the two sides conducted in-depth discussions on key issues such as school-enterprise cooperation, integration of production and education, and teaching management experience. The two sides also put forward some ideas on the construction of undergraduate student base, in-depth cooperation of teachers, cooperation between practice and scientific research, cooperation in innovation and entrepreneurship, and cooperation in social services, and initially reached a consensus on building an integrated industrial training system for secondary and higher vocational colleges.

Xie Xiaoqin pointed out at the meeting that the coordinated development of vocational and general education is the key to education reform, and the integration of production and education and the construction of industrial colleges are the core of in-depth cooperation between the two sides. Both sides should identify the professional convergence point, actively explore innovative training modes such as work-study alternation, aim at improving the quality of personnel training, and promote the development of cooperation in depth.

The meeting emphasized that the two universities should give full play to their respective advantages, realize resource sharing and complementary advantages, and carry out teaching cooperation with application as the guide.
