800,000 Potted Flowers in Full Bloom for New Year's Day

Nanchong Daily News: On December 18th, reporters observed in the main urban areas such as People's Garden and Xihua Road that the safety islands for pedestrians and central green dividers were adorned with blooming primroses and cyclamens, adding vibrant colors to the winter cityscape.

According to the information from the Landscape and Greening Department of the Comprehensive Administrative Law Enforcement Bureau of Shunqing District, as New Year's Day approaches, 800,000 potted flowers at key points in the city, including Five Star Garden, People's Garden, Fuchun Garden, Binjiang Avenue, Huan Du Avenue, Gaoxin Avenue, and Xihua Road, are all in full bloom.

The variety of blooming flowers is rich, including the delicate and vibrant azaleas with petals layered like flames in combustion; the fresh and elegant snapdragons with clusters of flowers exuding a charming aura; and the golden and splendid tulips that shimmer in the sunlight... The different flowers complement each other, creating a clear hierarchy and playing a "flower symphony" in anticipation of the New Year's Day arrival.

"Before New Year's Day, these 800,000 potted flowers will successively enter their peak blooming period. The blooming flowers not only make the city more beautiful but also infuse it with a strong festive atmosphere, further enhancing the city's livability and appeal," said a person in charge from the Landscape and Greening Department of the Comprehensive Administrative Law Enforcement Bureau of Shunqing District.
