Yingshan, Sichuan: The Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference carries out activities of sending law and medical personnel to rural areas

Recently, the Political Consultative Conference of Yingshan County, Nanchong City, Sichuan Province organized relevant departments at the county level and some members of the Political Consultative Conference to go to Xiaoqiao Town and Xinghuo Town to carry out activities of sending laws and doctors to rural areas, bringing legal knowledge and high-quality medical services to the people. Beside the streets of Xiaoqiao Town, 15 units (departments) including the County Political Consultative Conference, County Judicial Bureau, and County Civil Affairs Bureau have set up legal knowledge propaganda booths surrounded by the masses. In response to the questions raised by citizens, staff patiently answer and clarify questions, distribute legal education materials, explain legal knowledge, guide the masses to establish a correct concept of the rule of law, resolve conflicts and disputes through legal means, and safeguard their legitimate rights and interests.

At the Xinghuo Center Health Center, staff from medical and health institutions such as the County People's Hospital, Nanchong City Mental and Physical Hospital, and County Center for Disease Control and Prevention distributed health promotion materials and provided medical consultation services to passing residents in front of the free clinic. They also carried out free clinic activities such as blood pressure measurement, blood sugar measurement, and ophthalmic testing, and provided targeted suggestions and opinions on disease rehabilitation, dietary hygiene, and other aspects.

It is worth mentioning that in addition to providing free diagnosis and health consultation services in Xinghuochang Town, medical and health workers also went deep into Xinghuo Middle School and Xinghuo Center Health Center to explain infectious disease prevention and control knowledge to middle school students, and conducted medical and medical insurance business training for township medical and health personnel.

It is understood that the "Sending Legal Services and Health and Medical Services to the Countryside" activity this time is a specific measure for county CPPCC members to carry out the "serving the people" activity, and it is also an important carrier for the county CPPCC to carry out the "Three Going to the Countryside" activity with agricultural technology, legal knowledge, and medical and health as the main service content.
