Students from Nanchong Transportation Technical School create new glory in national sports events

Recently, the 2025 National Defense Sports Bidding Competition and the National Defense Sports Grand Linkage Finals concluded at Feima Sports Park in Jiangyin City, Jiangsu Province. The students of Nanchong Transportation Technical School have achieved excellent results with exquisite skills, winning 4 golds, 5 silvers, and 5 bronzes, and ranking first in the national high school group in total points, which has won honors for the school.

This competition is hosted by the Social Sports Guidance Center of the General Administration of Sport of China, with over 2600 athletes from all over the country competing on the same stage. The scale is unprecedented and the competition is fierce. The competition consists of eight events: comprehensive obstacle, directional movement, simulated aircraft, short soldier confrontation, military arena, light trap waist flag, light trap equipment group, and formation. It comprehensively tests the physical fitness, skills, and national defense and military literacy of the participants. The school selected 14 students and, under the leadership of Professor Pei Yaolong, built a solid foundation through diligent training. They persevered in the competition and the overall strength of the team won high recognition from the on-site judges and opponents.

This is another glorious achievement for the students of the school after winning 8 gold and 6 silver medals in the "Emei Cup" international martial arts competition on August 21st this year. The achievement of this result is another vivid practice of the concept of "promoting learning through competition, empowering and improving quality".
