Build a strong psychological defense line and protect the sunshine of youth

On October 23, Longmen Middle School in Nanchong, Sichuan Province held a meeting for new grade psychological committee members for the fall semester of 2025, in order to deepen the work of school mental health education, consolidate the system for preventing and intervening in student psychological crises, and enhance the performance ability of class psychological committee members. Director Luo Peng of the Student Affairs Office delivered a speech at the conference, and Teacher Li Hongjie from the Mental Health Guidance Center gave a training session. Senior and junior high school psychological committee members attended the meeting.

During the training session, Teacher Li Hongjie from the Mental Health Guidance Center gave a training session to the psychological committee members. Under the guidance of Teacher Li, the students systematically learned how to observe keenly, listen actively, communicate effectively, and identify potential psychological distress signals among classmates. They also learned to master the process of initial intervention and timely reporting. At the training session, the psychological committee listened attentively, recorded carefully, and actively participated in the training. Through training, the psychological committee members have clarified their responsibilities, mastered methods, and become more determined to safeguard the mental health of their classmates.

The convening of this meeting has enhanced the role awareness of the psychological committee as a "guardian of the soul", which can effectively guide and assist the psychological committee in better serving students, building a psychological safety barrier for the class, and playing a positive role in creating a sunny, healthy, and harmonious campus psychological atmosphere.
