Shunqing, Sichuan: Multi party linkage and aggregation power, two cancer screening to protect health

In order to effectively protect the health rights and interests of women in the area under jurisdiction, and improve the early diagnosis and treatment rate of cervical cancer and breast cancer (hereinafter referred to as "two cancers") among women of the right age, recently, the Health Bureau of Shunqing District, Nanchong City, Sichuan Province took the lead in organizing the District Maternal and Child Health Hospital (District Women and Children's Hospital), combined with the District Women's Federation, Yingxi Sub district Office, Beicheng Sub district Office, and community health service centers of each sub district, to build an efficient working mechanism of "government led, department collaboration, resource integration, publicity and mobilization". We plan to launch centralized screening services on September 4-5, sparking a wave of publicity and mobilization for free screening of "two cancers" for eligible women in 2025, with significant results.

Government led, high-level promotion to build a solid foundation for security

The Shunqing District Committee and Government attach great importance to women's health work, and have included the "two cancers" screening project in key livelihood issues, strengthening top-level design and policy support. The district health bureau takes the lead in formulating a detailed work plan, clarifying the division of responsibilities and time nodes of each participating unit, to ensure the orderly and efficient progress of screening work. The strong leadership of the government has provided solid organizational support and resource support for the smooth implementation of screening work.

Departmental collaboration, precise mobilization and cohesion of work force

They have organized community cadres and grid workers to go deep into the buildings of the community, post posters, distribute promotional brochures, and use community radio and electronic screens to repeatedly broadcast information, ensuring full coverage of publicity and mobilization without omission; As a technical support unit, the District Maternal and Child Health Hospital (District Women and Children's Hospital) selects experts to participate in technical training and quality control; The community health service centers of each street play the role of "outposts" and "hubs", responsible for preliminary publicity and consultation, target population mapping, appointment registration, and some preliminary screening work within their jurisdiction, greatly facilitating the participation of the masses nearby.

Promote innovation and demonstrate mobilization effectiveness through multidimensional efforts

In the propaganda and mobilization, each unit innovates and comprehensively promotes. In addition to the traditional banners, bulletin boards, release notices and other forms, we make full use of the new media matrix - "Shunqing Women's Federation", "Beicheng Street" and other WeChat official account to intensively publish screening announcements, popular science knowledge and Q&A content; The community WeChat group regularly pushes relevant information, creating an active atmosphere for online interactive consultation. At the same time, experts from the District Maternal and Child Health Hospital (District Women's and Children's Hospital) conducted health lectures and free consultations in the community, face-to-face explaining the importance of "two cancers" prevention and screening processes, effectively eliminating some women's doubts and enhancing their voluntary participation enthusiasm.

Through a series of solid and effective organization and publicity mobilization, the awareness and willingness to participate in the screening of "two cancers" among eligible women in the entire region have significantly increased, forming a good social atmosphere of caring for women's health and actively participating in screening. Preliminary statistics show that the coverage of this round of publicity far exceeds expectations, with a significant increase in the number of appointments and registrations, laying a solid foundation for the smooth implementation of subsequent substantive screening work.

This multi departmental collaboration provides a successful example of organizing and implementing livelihood projects in the entire region, fully demonstrating the enormous effectiveness of the linkage mechanism.
