Promoting Teaching through Presentation and Building Dreams with Ingenuity to Embark on a New Journey

To build a platform for young teachers to showcase their teaching styles and exchange teaching experiences, and to continuously support the professional growth of young teachers, on May 9, Longmen Middle School in Nanchong, Sichuan Province held the "Deeply Cultivate the Classroom and Jointly Research Teaching" young teachers' teaching presentation competition. Twenty-nine young teachers focused on the core qualities of the subject, promoted teaching through presentation and empowered themselves through the competition, presenting a teaching feast that was both in-depth and heartwarming.

At the competition site, the participating teachers elaborated brilliantly around aspects such as textbook analysis, learning situation diagnosis, teaching objectives, teaching and learning methods, teaching process, blackboard design, and teaching reflection. Combining the concepts of the new curriculum standards with the characteristics of the subject, some teachers were passionate and inspiring, while others were calm and wise. They transformed the teaching concepts that kept pace with the times into practical teaching designs, fully demonstrating their solid professional foundation and innovative spirit.

The judging panel, composed of senior teachers and teaching and research group leaders, gave professional comments from dimensions such as teaching logic, innovative highlights, language expression, and basic teaching skills. Ye Ling and Tang Minglian, representatives of the liberal arts judging panel, and Wan Caixia, the chairman of the judging panel, and Liao Haiquan, representatives of the science judging panel, unanimously affirmed the "student-centered" teaching design of the participating teachers and their flexible application of information technology and subject integration. At the same time, they also put forward guiding opinions on details such as "the accuracy of learning situation analysis", "the generative design of blackboard writing", and "the art of leaving blank in the classroom".

Through objective and fair selection, two teachers, Cai Qing and Xing Zhijia, won the special prize, and eight teachers, Ding Xiaorui, Gao Yujia, Lu Juan, Xiao Jie, Zhao Yuanxin, Dai Ting, Cen Dan, and Li Furong, won the first prize.

Zhang Limei, the executive principal, Tang Bing, the deputy secretary of the Party committee, Zhang Hongbo, the vice principal, and Wan Caixia, the chairman of the labor union, attended the teaching observation and evaluation activities and the teaching presentation summary meeting.

At the summary meeting, Executive Principal Zhang Limei pointed out that young teachers are the main force in the development of the school and should actively assume the mission and responsibility of high-quality development of the school. She required that young teachers take the competition as an opportunity to deeply cultivate classroom teaching, implement the core qualities of the subject, and strive to be "good teachers with four qualities".

This teaching presentation competition has built a platform for young teachers' professional growth to exchange and learn from each other, and has injected new momentum into the high-quality development of the school.
