On the morning of April 21st, Luo Qiang, Deputy Secretary of the Party Leadership Group and Deputy Director of the Standing Committee of the Sichuan Provincial People's Congress, visited Nanchong Film Industry Vocational College for a research and guidance tour. Accompanying him were Pan Guohua, Secretary and Director of the Nanchong Municipal People's Congress Standing Committee, Xu Jian, Deputy Director of the Standing Committee, and Song Xianzuo, Secretary-General.

Led by the school's chairman Kou Delin and other members of the school's leadership, Luo Qiang and his delegation visited various educational and teaching facilities on campus, including the Art and Culture Center, School of Physical Education, School of Intelligent Manufacturing, Campus Police Center, Library, Film Studio, and AI Production Center. They also viewed the faculty and student works exhibition at the school's Sports and Cultural Arts Festival. During the visit, Luo Qiang had cordial exchanges with teachers and students, inquiring about the curriculum setup, progress in industry-education integration, talent cultivation models, and graduate employment.

Kou Delin reported on the college's history, key efforts made to promote development, and future plans. He also suggested that the provincial People's Congress strengthen legal publicity and support for private schools. President Li Taibin pledged to fully implement the directives of provincial leaders, vigorously advance the construction of a distinctive school, and contribute to the development of education in the province.

Luo Qiang highly praised the school's achievements in just three years, commending Chairman Kou Delin for his strong sense of responsibility and leadership. He noted that the school's hardware facilities are well-developed and the campus environment is pleasant, with a very promising future. In his concluding remarks, Luo Qiang emphasized four key points for the school's future development:

  1. Fully implement the Party's educational guidelines, prioritizing the development needs of teachers and students.

  2. In terms of curriculum and major development, closely focus on the core of "film industry," highlight major directions and characteristics, and integrate the extensive application of AI technology in the film sector. Continue to benchmark and strive for excellence as proposed by the provincial Party committee and government.

  3. Strengthen campus safety to provide students with a secure and stable environment for learning and growth.

  4. Actively gather external resources, especially talents in the film industry, to enhance faculty development and provide a solid talent base for the school's high-quality development. (Source: Nanchong Film Industry Vocational College)
