Nanchong Film Industry Vocational College School of Art Hosts Dr. Zeng Fanzhong's Series of Lectures

From March 26 to 28, the School of Art at Nanchong Film Industry Vocational College invited Dr. Zeng Fanzhong to the campus to conduct a series of thematic lectures. The event covered three major themes: enhancing teachers' research capabilities, motivating students' career development, and inheriting traditional art skills. Through training sessions on "Research Project Application and Proposal Writing," an inspirational lecture titled "Knowledge Changes Destiny, Skills Achieve Life," and a practical class on "Paper-cutting Art and Skills," the activities provided a multidimensional academic and spiritual feast for teachers and students.

Dr. Zeng Fanzhong's lecture on "Research Project Application and Proposal Writing" mainly elaborated on five aspects: existing channels for research project applications, types of research projects, preparatory work before applying for research projects, general project review criteria, and the writing of project proposals. This provided teachers with clear pathways and methods for project applications.

In the lecture "Knowledge Changes Destiny, Skills Achieve Life," Dr. Zeng Fanzhong shared his personal experiences, recounting his journey from a poor cattle-herding boy in a Yao village in Hunan to his struggles in education, teaching, entrepreneurship, and his pursuit of artistic and medical dreams. He showcased his diverse talents and achievements, encouraging students to explore their interests and enrich their lives. Through a video presentation titled "Fanzhong's Three Dreams," he narrated his stories of seeking mentors and achieving dreams, vividly depicting scenes of his hard work, such as carrying heavy loads on public buses and surviving on porridge. He also displayed his works in paper-cutting, pen drawing, seal carving, and calligraphy, which deeply moved the audience. Additionally, Dr. Zeng provided paper-cutting training for the students.
