Shouldering Historical Missions and Leading the Tide of the Times

On the morning of March 31, the ninth (expanded) meeting of the second board of directors of Nanchong Film Industry Vocational College was held in the second-floor meeting room of the School's Duboxue Building. All members of the school's board of directors attended the meeting, and members of the school's board of supervisors and school-level leaders attended the meeting as observers. The meeting was presided over by the school's chairman, Kou Delin.

The meeting heard reports on the school's 2024 work summary, 2025 work arrangements, and 2025 enrollment and employment work. It also studied the school's "15th Five-Year" plan, talent cultivation assessment and acceptance, financial security and operation, Phase II construction projects, and development plans. The meeting reviewed and approved matters related to adjustments in the board of directors. Participants also offered suggestions on the school's major construction, student internships and employment, and the Phase II construction plan.

Chairman Kou Delin of the school's board of directors spoke at the meeting. He fully affirmed the achievements made in the school's work in 2024 and highly approved of the 2025 work arrangements, progress in enrollment and employment, and financial work. He expressed his sincere thanks to all members of the board of directors and the hard work and outstanding contributions of all faculty and staff of the school.

Chairman Kou Delin comprehensively summarized the hard-won achievements made by the school in handling legacy issues, basic construction and material procurement, funding preparation, system building, quality improvement and efficiency enhancement, and educational management over the three years since Sichuan Oriental Science and Education Group took over the film college. He also pointed out the current shortcomings of the school in talent shortage and the refinement of management.

At the meeting, Chairman Kou Delin put forward specific work requirements. First, it is necessary to establish and improve various management systems. The school administration must strictly implement the relevant work regulations of all levels of party and government departments and complete the various tasks assigned by the board of directors. Second, efforts should be made to enhance the quality of school education and teaching. All departments and secondary colleges should strengthen collaboration, do a good job in student training and internships, and promote the completion of student employment tasks. Third, the school administration should strengthen its leadership, guidance, and supervision of all departments and secondary colleges. Strengthen management, unite efforts, work together, unify thinking, and obey the unified command of the principal. Fourth, enrollment work must be carried out in accordance with laws and regulations. It is strictly forbidden to engage in irregular or paid enrollment practices. Responsibilities must be compact at all levels and responsibility agreements must be signed at all levels. It is essential to adhere to transparent enrollment practices, do a good job in publicity, and fully complete the enrollment tasks assigned by the provincial Department of Education. Fifth, comprehensive efforts should be made to strengthen the construction of the faculty and increase the intensity of talent introduction and teacher recruitment. The school should formulate policies for talent cultivation, especially for the cultivation of young cadres, to empower talent introduction and cultivation. Sixth, the school's ability to provide educational services should be comprehensively enhanced, with continuous improvement in campus infrastructure and logistics services, and full efforts to ensure campus safety and stability.

The successful convening of this meeting has clarified the direction for the school's high-quality development. The entire school will use this meeting as an opportunity to further unify thinking,coalesce consensus, and act as implementers, doers, and pragmatists in building a strong education nation and province.
