Nanchong Transportation Technician School Kicks Off New Semester with High Spirits

On the morning of February 26, Nanchong Transportation Technician School held its spring semester opening ceremony at the Starlight Square. The ceremony was attended by over 3,000 teachers and students, along with the school's Party Branch Secretary and Principal Zheng Xinyu, Executive Vice Principal Yan Chaoyang, Vice Principals Yan Lin and Tan He, and heads of various departments.

At 8:30 a.m., Vice Principal Tan He presided over the ceremony and declared it officially open. As the majestic "March of the Volunteers" played, the Five-Star Red Flag was raised slowly. All teachers and students stood solemnly, singing the national anthem with vigor, welcoming the new semester with their most spirited demeanor.

Principal Zheng Xinyu then delivered an enthusiastic speech. She reviewed the past year, highlighting the school's commitment to cultivating virtue and talent, overcoming difficulties in technical education, and achieving notable progress. The campus environment and infrastructure saw "new" improvements, the school's scale expanded with "new" developments, the number of skill competition awards achieved "new" breakthroughs, and the teaching quality reached a "new" level. Looking ahead to 2025, Principal Zheng called on all teachers and students to be "climbers" of knowledge, encouraging students to study diligently and achieve academic success. She also urged them to be "bearers" of the times, to set lofty ideals, take on responsibilities, and strive to become well-rounded individuals with "four haves" (morality, culture, discipline, and sense of responsibility). She further inspired students to be "fighters" for the rejuvenation of China, urging them to study hard, face difficulties bravely, and contribute to the realization of the Chinese Dream of national rejuvenation. She expressed high expectations for both teachers and students, hoping that every student would be diligent and skilled, and every teacher would maintain high professional ethics and strive for excellence.

Executive Vice Principal Yan Chaoyang read out the commendation decisions. A total of 144 outstanding students, 102 outstanding student leaders, and 7 advanced class collectives were honored for their achievements in 2024.

Outstanding student representative Mao Jingyu also addressed the ceremony.

Finally, Vice Principal Yan Lin outlined the safety work plan for the new year. He emphasized the need for all teachers and students to enhance their safety awareness, strengthen safety education, and strictly implement the "dual responsibility" system for safety work to achieve the "five zeros" safety goal.

As spring tides surge and thousands of sails compete, the time is ripe for galloping forward.
