In order to implement normalized campus safety education, adhere to safety education starting from a young age and building a solid foundation from the source, and help students cultivate drowning prevention safety awareness from a small root, and consolidate the foundation of safety knowledge, on May 19th, the 11th Middle School of Nanchong City, together with the publicity team of Nanchong City Drowning Prevention Education Center, carried out a drowning prevention themed safety education activity with solid content, diverse forms, and close to the learning situation.

The school always focuses on drowning prevention safety education in daily life, closely monitoring key periods such as dismissal and holidays. Through various forms such as themed class meetings, school entrance broadcasts, and bulletin boards, safety knowledge and warning cases are disseminated to remind students to stay away from dangerous waters and build a strong all-weather safety protection line.

This activity abandons the single preaching mode and closely combines with the real scenes of students' daily life. It adopts a three-dimensional teaching method of warning video simulation teaching+practical operation of life-saving equipment. By using real-life case videos to visually demonstrate the huge hidden dangers of wild water bodies and unauthorized water play, combined with practical demonstrations of equipment such as lifebuoys and lifebuoys, abstract safety knowledge is transformed into easy to understand, easy to learn, and practical skills that can be used.

Students are required to strictly abide by the following rules: do not swim in the water without permission, do not swim with others without the guidance of parents or teachers, do not swim in water areas without safety facilities or rescue personnel, do not swim in unfamiliar water areas, and do not blindly enter water for rescue if unfamiliar with the water; Simultaneously achieve the Two Sessions: proactively remind and dissuade peers in case of danger, and promptly report to teachers and parents, proficiently mastering basic self rescue and self-protection methods.

In response to sudden drowning incidents, comprehensive emergency skills training will be conducted on-site. The preaching staff demonstrated and dismantled the standard movements of cardiopulmonary resuscitation, artificial respiration, and Heimlich first aid method step by step, explaining in detail the correct processes of drowning self rescue, shore based intelligent mutual rescue, distress call, emergency alarm and help, correcting students' blind entry into the water, hand in hand rescue and other erroneous practices, allowing students to clearly distinguish the applicable scenarios of self rescue, mutual rescue, and first aid, truly achieving the understanding of risk avoidance, self rescue, and mutual assistance.

This down-to-earth and immersive thematic education firmly grasps the critical period of safety education for young students, making drowning prevention safety knowledge deeply ingrained in their minds and effective, effectively filling the gaps in students' safety knowledge, comprehensively enhancing the safety awareness and emergency response capabilities of all students, and continuously weaving a dense campus safety protection network to safeguard the safe and healthy growth of students.
