Nanchong Film Industry Vocational College held a special lecture

On the afternoon of January 9th, Nanchong Film Industry Vocational College held a special lecture on in-depth study and implementation of the spirit of the Fourth Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the Eighth Plenary Session of the 12th Provincial Party Committee at the Literature and Art Center. Professor Cao Junxue, Dean of the School of Marxism, was invited to give a special lecture, promoting the spirit of the two major conferences into campuses, classrooms, and minds, effectively building a solid ideological foundation, and consolidating consensus on development.

At the lecture, Professor Cao Junxue closely adhered to the core principles of the two major conferences and provided a systematic, comprehensive, and easy to understand interpretation. He first based himself on the overall national development strategy, profoundly expounded the significant historical significance and contemporary value of the Fourth Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, accurately analyzed the strategic positioning of the "15th Five Year Plan" period as a key stage for realizing socialist modernization, and elaborated on the profound connotation and practical path of the core goals of high-quality development, technological self-reliance and self-improvement, and consolidating national security barriers clearly defined in the plenary session. Then, in combination with the spirit of the 8th Plenary Session of the 12th Provincial Party Committee, Professor Cao Junxue focused on the local development reality of Sichuan, deeply analyzed the strategic opportunities and core missions facing the current regional development, disassembled the "seven obvious" development goals and 12 key tasks proposed by the Plenary Session one by one, and emphasized the need to accurately align the national strategic deployment, base on the regional development reality, and highlight the responsibility and contribution of Chinese path to modernization in serving the overall situation of Chinese modernization.

Based on the fundamental task of cultivating moral character in universities, Professor Cao Junxue has put forward clear requirements for the whole school to deeply study and implement the spirit of the plenary session. He pointed out that all teachers and students in the school should deeply understand the decisive significance of the "two consolidations", enhance the "four consciousnesses", strengthen the "four confidences", and achieve the "two safeguards", fully integrating the spirit of the plenary session into all aspects of education and teaching, scientific research and innovation, and talent cultivation. He emphasized that universities, as the main battlefield for talent cultivation and the source of scientific and technological innovation, should actively benchmark national strategic needs, accurately optimize the layout of disciplines and majors, deepen the integration of industry and education, and the integration of science and education. They should take the initiative to serve the high-quality development of local economy and society, cultivate new quality productive forces, and solve key core technological problems. They should guide young students to integrate their personal ideals into the overall development of the country and national rejuvenation, and grow into the new generation of the times who shoulder the great responsibility of national rejuvenation.

This lecture has provided direction and guidance for Southern Film to further promote the implementation of the spirit of the plenary session. Next, Nan Ying will take this lecture as an opportunity to study and implement the spirit of the two plenary sessions as an important political task for the current and future period, continue to deepen the study, publicity and interpretation, transform the learning achievements into a strong driving force to promote the connotative high-quality development of the school, into a practical measure to serve the national strategy and help the high-quality development of Sichuan, and contribute the wisdom and strength of colleges and universities to promote the construction of Chinese path to modernization.
