Years reflect our original aspirations, and we retire to honor our youth

On December 18th, Longmen Middle School in Nanchong, Sichuan Province held its second retirement ceremony, paying the highest respect and sincere blessings to the three retired faculty members Pu Heng, Liu Xiaoping, and Wu Xingbin who have devoted their lives to the teaching profession.

At the beginning of the ceremony, the executive principal Zhang Limei read out the "Notice of Sichuan Nanchong Longmen Middle School on Granting the Honorary Title of 'De Cai Long Zhong Ren' to three comrades including Pu Heng".

For decades, three teachers have dedicated their youth to Longzhong Campus without reservation: some light up the hearts of students on the three foot podium, while others interpret the spirit of "screws" in ordinary positions. With decades of perseverance, they practice the educational essence of "learning high as a teacher and being a role model", becoming the most valuable spiritual wealth of the school.

At the age of 19, Mr. Pu graduated from Sichuan Normal University and entered the long night of education with a "Chinese" lantern in his hand, guarding it for forty-one years. The blackboard is made of rice paper, and chalk is made of wolf hair. What he writes is not only the rhythm and horizontal and vertical strokes, but also the composure and composure in the face of extravagance. Over the course of forty-one years, he transformed his office into a harbor for students to set sail, turned assignments into maps for thousands of miles, and used the power of literature to forge the key to dialogue with the world for countless young people.

Teacher Liu Xiaoping: Write all the formulas about spring and autumn events, and establish a stable foundation on the podium

From a student in Longzhong to a teacher at his alma mater, Teacher Liu has drawn a perfect educational cycle over the past 43 years. In 1981, he entered school with a dream and returned to the podium in 1990. During his 38 years of teaching, he wrote mathematical theorems into lines of poetry, drew the blackboard into a starry sky, used numbers as boats and principles as oars, and carried one youth after another to the other side of thinking. He also taught students the courage to deduce the world and ask for truth.

Teacher Wu Xingbin: Half a lifetime of hard work and multiple roles, a lifetime of sincerity and dedication as a member of the dragon

Over the course of forty-one years, Teacher Wu Xingbin has written the triple answer sheet of "Ten Years and One Realm" in the dragon. For ten years, he worked as a cook, providing warmth and nourishment to students' youth with three meals a day; Ten years of security line, he measured campus safety with his footsteps; After 20 years of teaching and research, he meticulously and responsibly recorded the growth of the school. Without grand feats, but achieving the utmost in every position, it embodies the sincerity and perseverance of a "lifelong dragon person". At the ceremony, Principal Zhang Limei presented the "De Cai Long Zhong Ren" honorary certificates and trophies to three teachers. Representatives of young teachers presented carefully prepared gifts and flowers, with smiling faces and applause, capturing the most sincere friendship between teachers and students. As a representative of retired teachers, Teacher Pu Heng's speech was filled with nostalgia for the campus and love for the education industry, which moved everyone present.

Principal Zhang Limei stated in her concluding speech that the perseverance and dedication of the three veteran teachers are the spiritual treasures of Longmen Middle School, worthy of being remembered and inherited by every educator. At the end of the ceremony, all attending cadres and retired teachers took a group photo in front of the Yucai Building to capture the warmth and respect of this moment forever.
