On the morning of September 13th, Nanchong No.11 Affiliated Primary School held a solemn and culturally significant "opening ceremony" for first-year students. The theme of this event is "Enlightenment through Writing, Nurturing Wisdom in Life". By restoring traditional entrance etiquette, students are guided to appreciate the excellent traditional Chinese culture of respecting teachers, valuing morality, and cultivating themselves through the ceremony, marking the official start of their learning journey.

The ceremony officially began in a solemn atmosphere. Under the guidance of teachers and parents, first-year students lined up neatly and walked solemnly through the "Gate of Enlightenment", symbolizing the opening of the door to wisdom and embarking on a new stage of life.

The ceremony proceeded through six traditional stages, namely "formal attire", "filial piety and respect for teachers", "cinnabar enlightenment", "drumming and singing", "enlightenment painting", and "collective recitation". In the "correct attire" section, students correct their own attire and teachers correct their attire, demonstrating a good spiritual outlook; In the "Filial Piety and Respect for Teachers" ceremony, students bow to their revered teacher Confucius, enlightenment teacher, and parents respectively, inheriting the traditional virtues of respecting teachers and filial piety of the Chinese nation.

The 'cinnabar enlightenment' segment pushed the ceremony to a climax. Teachers use cinnabar pens to lightly touch the red mole on the forehead of students, symbolizing the opening of wisdom and clarity of mind. The subsequent "Drumming and Singing" was carried out by Director Yang of the School's Moral Education Department, who beat the drums three times. Students followed and took oaths: "Respect teachers," "Love learning," and "Bring glory to the school." The resounding drums blended with the naive vows, demonstrating the great aspirations of new students.

In the "Enlightenment and Red Painting" section, Director Xing of the affiliated primary school personally demonstrated the writing of the character "human", explaining the mutually supportive and upright way of being contained in the structure of the character "human". Parents and teachers work together to assist students in completing the red stroke of the character "ren", conveying sincere expectations and cultural heritage through the interweaving of ink and brush.

At the end of the ceremony, all students recited the Three Character Classic in unison, and the loud recitation echoed through the campus, internalizing traditional culture in their hearts. The event ended successfully in a warm and grand atmosphere.
