Nanchong No.11 Middle School: Focusing on the core of education, seeking new development together
From July 26th to 29th, all leaders and cadres of Nanchong No.11 Middle School gathered at Micangshan in Bazhong City to conduct a warm and profound discussion on the school's development plan for the next academic year.
The conference takes "people-oriented, focusing on the core of school development" as the main line, with students, teachers, and quality as the foundation. Through mobilization meetings, group discussions, and special reports, a special report is formed to outline a new blueprint for the future development of the school. Vice Principal Ye Yunsheng presented a report on strategies to enhance students' intrinsic motivation in learning. Director Yao of the Primary School Department elaborated on the quantitative standards for capacity building in the context of the "double reduction" policy. He introduced the "Three x Three" moral education model, the "Six Five Four" intellectual education section, and the "Five Three Two" development framework, providing clear quantitative standards and implementation paths for the comprehensive quality improvement of primary school students.
Vice Principal Chen Chao focused on the curriculum structure adjustment and management optimization of the junior high school department under the "double reduction" policy, and reported in detail on the relevant implementation plan. He proposed measures such as strictly following the curriculum standards, optimizing class hours, focusing on improving classroom quality, and optimizing weekend tiered electives to strive for comprehensive and personalized development of students.
Assistant Principal Chen Cai gave an in-depth introduction to the five in one intelligent training system of "research, preparation, teaching, practice, and evaluation" constructed by the school under the background of "three new", emphasizing the use of data to empower precise teaching, promote the transformation of teaching from experiential to scientific, and assist in the comprehensive improvement of the school's teaching quality.
Principal Yi Yanfa delivered a speech at the meeting, emphasizing that the core of the internal driving force for school development lies in "people", and precise efforts should be made from three aspects: teacher development motivation, student growth potential, and quality improvement vitality. We should fully respect the labor value of teachers, enhance their intrinsic motivation through multi-dimensional measures such as ideological guidance, institutional constraints, and career planning, deeply tap into students' potential, build a comprehensive "three in one" education system for all staff, the whole process, and all aspects, focus on quality improvement, construct an intelligent training system, and promote the sustained and high-quality development of schools.
Finally, Kou Delin, Chairman of Sichuan Oriental Science and Education Group, delivered an important speech. He expressed gratitude on behalf of the group and the school board for the hard work of the attendees.
At the same time, he proposed that school management should be "reduced" by streamlining the structure, precise positioning, efficient allocation of resources, removing redundant links, and improving management efficiency. Regarding school leaders, he emphasized the need to actively promote AI enabled education, improve teacher literacy, reshape teacher roles, reconstruct teacher competency frameworks, and fully leverage the positive role of AI in education and teaching. At the same time, he put forward several thoughts on the development of the school under the new situation, including optimizing the cadre and teacher teams, strengthening enrollment propaganda, enhancing political and ideological education, and cutting costs. He encouraged the whole school to calmly respond to challenges and strengthen confidence in running the school well.
