The "Spark Cup" 2025 Sichuan Youth BMX Championship ended in Yingshan, Nanchong

From July 30th to 31st, the "Spark Cup" 2025 Sichuan Youth BMX Championship was held at the Freestyle BMX Sports Center and BMX Sports Center in Yingshan County, Nanchong City.

This competition features two events, BMX Freestyle BMX Park Race and BMX Mud Racing Race, attracting more than 120 young athletes from 11 representative teams from Nanchong, Guang'an, Chengdu, Ya'an, Zigong and other places.

At the BMX freestyle BMX race, participants showcased their skills by jumping, spinning, backflip, and throwing turns on the undulating curved track. At the BMX mud racing venue, with the referee's command, the participating athletes drove out of the starting platform one by one, and the athletes chased after each other and bravely competed on the track. The athletes showcased a series of high difficulty movements such as rapid diving, jumping over obstacle packs, turning acceleration, and sprinting into lines... They performed a series of cool and challenging competitive movements such as downhill, gliding, and soaring one by one, showcasing their skills to the fullest within the designated time. The scene of the competition was filled with intense and thrilling moments, causing the audience to scream and cheer incessantly.

After intense competition, Zhang Yuxi and Li Mingxu from the Dazhou City representative team both won first place in the BMX BMX BMX Park Race (female C) and (male C), Zhang Yuhan and Peng Xiwen from the Mianyang City representative team both won first place in the BMX BMX BMX Park Race (female B) and (male B), and Luo Shenghan from the Guang'an City representative team and Xiong Ziming from the Zigong City representative team both won first place in the BMX BMX BMX BMX Park Race (female A) and (male A); Mianyang representative team Zhang Yuhan and Dazhou representative team Tang Zihan both won first place in the BMX BMX BMX Mud Race (female B) and (male B), while Zigong representative team Zeng Xianghui and Zigong representative team Deng Huangxiang both won first place in the BMX BMX BMX Mud Race (female A) and (male A).

It is reported that this event is hosted by the Sichuan Provincial Sports Bureau, organized by the Sichuan Provincial Water Sports Management Center, Nanchong Education and Sports Bureau, and Yingshan County People's Government. In July of this year, four level events including the National Racing BMX Championships, the 2025 National Youth U-Series Freestyle BMX Championships, the Nanchong Youth Cycling Championships and the "Running Bar · Youth" Yingshan County 5th Children's Skateboarding Challenge, and the Sichuan Youth BMX Championships intertwined speed and passion at the BMX Sports Center and Freestyle BMX Gymnasium in Yingshan. Professional teams, clubs, and youth athletes from 27 provinces and cities across the country left countless stunning moments here.

Since its completion and opening in 2017, the BMX Sports Center in Yingshan has successfully hosted 19 national level BMX series races, 5 China Tour of Sichuan (Yingshan) Road Cycling Leagues, and other internationally influential events. It is currently the only base in China that can simultaneously host racing and freestyle BMX events, as well as a national BMX winter training base and a cycling training base in Sichuan Province.
