National self-improvement model chenyahui: be a beam of light that warms oneself and illuminates others

At the 7th National Model for self-improvement and advanced disability assistance commendation conference held on May 16, chenyahui was awarded the title of "national model for self-improvement" by the disabled persons' Work Committee of the State Council, the Ministry of human resources and social security and the China Disabled Persons' Federation. Break through the visual barrier and win the light

In march1976, chenyahui was born into an ordinary family in Wenwu village, Huangdu Town, Yingshan County. Her childhood was full of haze due to congenital visual impairment, and she had almost no playmates. When he was hiding at home, chenyahui often heard the "didi dada" sound of the sewing machine. "It sounds like a song, which makes me feel that the world is still warm." chenyahui frankly said that her father's tailoring skills guided her later career.

In 1993, after graduating from junior high school, chenyahui went to Shenzhen alone to work in a wedding dress factory. Her eyesight disorder made her more difficult than ordinary people: she rubbed her fingertips repeatedly to identify the texture of the cloth; For precise cutting, she engraved the scale of the measuring tape into her memory. Through hard work and hard study, chenyahui mastered the whole process of garment production, became the technical backbone of the factory and won the recognition of the company's leaders.

In 1999, when he was promoted to the position of workshop management, chenyahui missed because of his physical disability. She felt very depressed and sad. "I want to live the life I want through my own efforts. As long as there is light in my heart, there will be hope in the future." so, chenyahui, with his entrepreneurial dream, opened a wedding dress family workshop with only four workers. In order to maintain normal operation, she is responsible for purchasing and sales.

"I overcame the difficulty of visual impairment, took a map, carried samples, traveled to Hangzhou, Suzhou, Shanghai, Shenyang and other places, ran orders and found sales. After running for more than a month, I accumulated my first batch of dealers, and business gradually improved." talking about the past, chenyahui's eyes were wet.

With honest management and unremitting struggle, chenyahui has gained a firm foothold in the highly competitive clothing industry and performed a legendary wealth story. In 2001, chenyahui owned his first exclusive store in the famous wedding dress street in Guangzhou. In 2003, three more stores were opened in Suzhou. In 2006, she purchased a shop in the bustling business district of Guangzhou as a wholesale store.

Today, chenyahui has opened more than 20 Direct stores in Shanghai, Hangzhou, Wuhan, Chongqing and other places. In the past, the small workshop has gradually developed into a large-scale enterprise with more than 200 employees. Its products are exported to Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia and the United States, with an annual sales revenue of 50million yuan.

Returning home to set up factories for the disabled to work nearby

In 2008, chenyahui, who had a successful career, returned to Yingshan to visit his relatives and witnessed the plight of disabled people in his hometown: they were either "protected" at home, or they were unable to find jobs due to lack of skills. As a result, chenyahui opened a processing point in the county's rental stores, providing 500 jobs. "I want to help disabled friends in my hometown create value and let them support themselves." chenyahui decided to separate part of the work in the processing center to provide employment opportunities for the disabled.

In June, 2022, when chenyahui returned to Yingshan to work, the County disabled persons' Federation offered her an olive branch to help the disabled obtain employment. After discussing with her husband, chenyahui said he would do it. He resolutely invested more than 3million yuan to establish Sichuan Zhongxin Clothing Co., Ltd., which is mainly engaged in wedding custom-made clothing. The disabled persons' Federation of the county has given support in the field, and chenyahui has increased his confidence.

Job advertisements were sent to the village, but few were answered. Chenyahui and the staff of the County disabled persons' Federation went deep into the countryside and tried hard to persuade them. Facing the parents' question about "what can a child do", she responded with her own experience: "we can do what a healthy person can do in two hours, even in four hours!"

According to the different conditions of the disabled, chenyahui has customized personalized training programs and jobs. For physically disabled employees, more advanced sewing equipment has been introduced to enable them to develop their strengths and circumvent their weaknesses. For hearing impaired employees, sign language teaching is introduced to enable them to communicate smoothly

In October, 2022, Sichuan Zhongxin Clothing Co., Ltd. was put into operation. Delicate gold thread embroidery and glittering beads streamed from the fingertips of disabled workers. Their Chinese style show clothes entered the high-end market and accompanied the brides into the marriage hall. At present, the company has attracted more than 130 disabled people for employment, with a monthly per capita wage of 3200 yuan, helping their families out of difficulties.

While running Sichuan Zhongxin Clothing Co., Ltd. well, chenyahui fully tapped the networking resources in Guangzhou and Shenzhen, contacted with various businesses such as manual crocheting and manual bead ordering, established 6 disabled people's studios and flexible employment workshops, and attracted more than 500 disabled people to work nearby.

He, a young man with cerebral palsy in Qingshui Township, graduated from a technical secondary school. He has difficulty communicating with strangers and has repeatedly encountered difficulties in finding a job. Introduced by liaojinxian, President of the county mutilation Association, he came to Sichuan Zhongxin Clothing Co., Ltd. Chenyahui's patient guidance helped him gradually master production skills. In the warm atmosphere, he gradually opened his heart and made friendly contacts with others. Two years later, he not only became the backbone of the business, but also undertook part of the management work.

"Sichuan Zhongxin Clothing Co., Ltd. is not only an enterprise, but also a warm family. We have similar experiences, and it is easier to pity each other. Working in this place makes me find my own value." he said with deep feeling.

Yi Qiong, a villager of Shanbei village, Qingshan Town, who is over 50 years old, was injured and disabled in early 1990. She has been unable to get out of the psychological shadow, became silent and lost confidence in life. The whole family lives on her husband's odd jobs and lives a tight life. By chance, she met chenyahui and came to Sichuan Zhongxin Clothing Co., Ltd. Chenyahui patiently enlightens, and Yi Qiong gradually becomes cheerful. Now, Yi Qiong's average monthly salary reaches 3500 yuan.

"Thanks to Mr. Chen, I have taken the step of going out of the house. Now my family's economic situation is much better and the whole family is more harmonious." Yi Qiong said with emotion that Sichuan Zhongxin Clothing Co., Ltd. has built a stage for the disabled to show themselves and realize their values, allowing them to find confidence and dignity here.

Full of love to enhance the sense of access for the disabled

On June 13, lishuqiong, a villager of Liufang village in Huilong Town, and her daughter sent a golden flag to chenyahui to express their gratitude for chenyahui's selfless help.

Lishuqiong's husband is a class II disabled person. The hardships of life make the whole family feel pressure. In January, 2023, chenyahui provided lishuqiong with a stable job and always cared about their family life. In order to create a warm home for them, chenyahui specially vacated a room for them to live in. He also subsidized the living expenses of lishuqiong's daughter by 600 yuan per month. He also gave new clothes for the new year and brought gifts back to Guangzhou.

"Thanks to President Chen for providing me with a job, I can earn more than 3000 yuan a month. Originally, we were not related, but she cared about our family so much and provided a lot of help that we will never forget!" lishuqiong burst into tears.

From May 22 to 23, chenyahui, together with the disabled persons' Federation of Yingshan County, took disabled volunteers to "one family with multiple disabilities" in Dongsheng, Huilong and other places to carry out visiting and condolence activities, and gave rice, edible oil, milk, clothes and other materials and condolence money to express their concern for the disabled.

Based on his own entrepreneurial experience, chenyahui encouraged disabled friends to build confidence and self-reliance. "Physical disability should not hinder the pursuit of happiness. Through skill training and social support, disabled people can also realize their life value." chenyahui promised to provide jobs such as garment processing and packaging for the able disabled, and to carry out skill training with the disabled persons' Federation of the county to help them better integrate into the society.

"A person's strength is limited. Only by gathering more strength can we form a greater flood of love," said chenyahui. In February, 2023, chenyahui led the establishment of Yingshan County disabled volunteer service team, regularly visited families of disabled people in the village, sent them daily necessities, accompanied them to chat, listened to their hearts, helped them share housework, passed on employment support policies, introduced work posts and skill training programs suitable for disabled people, and encouraged them to go out of their homes bravely to realize their own values.

Chenyahui also established a disability assistance alliance with Yingshan Tianyi disability assistance social service center, Chongqing Minghui Elevator Co., Ltd., Guangzhou Hanyi Clothing Co., Ltd., Guangzhou Longyu wedding dress Co., Ltd. and other enterprises to jointly develop new jobs suitable for the employment of the disabled, help more than 50 disabled people find employment opportunities and embark on guard, cleaning and other jobs.
