Nanchong, Sichuan: Fengtai Primary School in Dingshui Town Holds Children's Day Art Performance

On May 30th, as International Children's Day approached, all teachers, students, and parents of Fengtai Primary School in Dingshui Town, Nanbu County, Nanchong City, Sichuan Province, gathered on campus to celebrate the Children's Day Art Performance, kicking off a spectacular audiovisual feast.

During the preparation for the performance, the school’s teachers dedicated themselves wholeheartedly, carefully choreographing programs to provide students with a platform to showcase their talents. On the day of the event, a variety of acts took the stage, including singing and dancing, instrumental performances, and situational dramas, demonstrating the versatility and youthful energy of Fengtai Primary School’s students.

One of the highlights of the performance was the guzheng solo "Ambush on All Sides" by Gu Qinyan, an eighth-grade student. With her fingers gently plucking the strings, the passionate melody surged forth like a tidal wave, vividly depicting an intense battle scene and earning thunderous applause from the audience.

The situational drama "Pulling Up Seedlings to Help Them Grow" performed by fifth-grade students was equally memorable. The young actors’ lively performances, exaggerated movements, and childlike lines delivered profound lessons in an entertaining way, bringing the atmosphere of the event to a climax.

As the performance neared its end, Principal Lu Daxi delivered a warm and inspiring speech. He stated that Fengtai Primary School has always actively responded to the call of the Party and the nation, committed to the all-around development of moral, intellectual, physical, aesthetic, and labor education, and dedicated to nurturing well-rounded youth for the new era. The school adheres to the educational philosophy of "never giving up on any student and never discriminating against any struggling learner," nurturing every young seedling with love and patience, and looking forward to their growth and success.

Additionally, during the art performance, a solemn and meaningful flag-raising ceremony for the Young Pioneers and the Communist Youth League was held. School leaders presented bright red scarves to new Young Pioneer members and shining league emblems to new Youth League members. The new members wore expressions of pride and joy, ready to carry this honor and mission forward in their future studies and lives.
