Regular Drills Enhance Kindergarten Safety and Protection Capabilities

What should we do if an attacker breaks into a kindergarten? In order to prevent violent incidents in kindergartens and enhance the anti-terrorism and riot capabilities of both teachers and children, the Green Apple Little Dragon Kindergarten in Gaoping District, Nanchong City, has conducted an "Anti-Terrorism and Explosion Emergency Drill" activity.

The drill began without any warning. Teachers were leading children in games on the playground when suddenly, a "criminal" attempted to force their way into the school. Security personnel detected the anomaly at the earliest moment, quickly activated the one-touch alarm system, and engaged with the "criminal" using anti-riot equipment to prevent them from approaching the teaching building. Teachers immediately organized the children to evacuate; under the guidance of the teachers, the children quickly and orderly took shelter in their classrooms, closing doors and windows, barricading entrances with desks and chairs, and maintaining silence to avoid revealing their location.

Within minutes, the kindergarten's emergency response team arrived in a timely manner and,Cooperate seamlessly with security personnel,swiftly subdued the "terrorist" according to the anti-terrorism and explosion emergency plan, removing them from the scene. After the alarm was lifted, each class conducted anti-terrorism and explosion mini-classes, providing the children with knowledge about explosion prevention and psychological counseling to alleviate any tension and fear.

This drill not only tested the effectiveness of the kindergarten's anti-terrorism and explosion emergency plan but also strengthened the safety awareness and self-protection abilities of all teachers and students. The kindergarten will take this drill as an opportunity to further improve safety management, ensuring the safety and stability of the school and safeguarding the safe growth of the children. In the future, the kindergarten will regularly organize such drills to continuously enhance its ability to respond to emergencies, providing peace of mind to parents and reassurance to society.
