Dual teacher teaching and research promote the improvement of inter school cooperation and mutual growth

To continuously deepen classroom teaching reform, solidly promote the construction of dual teacher classrooms, optimize the teaching mode of junior high school English reading, and promote inter school research and integration, as well as complementary advantages. On September 17th, Zhang Pengcheng, the principal of the junior high school department of Suining Lvran School, led an excellent team of English teachers to visit Nanchong No.11 Middle School and held a special exchange and discussion activity on dual teacher teaching of junior high school English with the team of junior high school English teachers led by Chen Chao, the vice principal of Nanchong No.11 Middle School. This event focuses on improving the quality and efficiency of English reading classes through high-quality demonstration courses and thematic discussions, providing an efficient and practical learning and communication platform for teachers from both schools.

At the beginning of the event, Guo Jia, an excellent English teacher from the junior high department of Suining Lvran School, brought a wonderful and diverse dual teacher reading demonstration class to the eighth grade students of Nanchong No.11 Middle School. This lesson is based on the English reading material "Cooling Debt" from the 21st Century Daily, closely adhering to the core literacy requirements of the new curriculum standard for English. Based on the characteristics of middle school students' reading and learning situations, the classroom task chain is carefully designed. In the classroom, Teacher Guo Jia has clear teaching ideas and innovative teaching designs. Through various teaching methods such as situational introduction, task driven, group exploration, and critical discussion, she guides students to deeply study texts, extract viewpoints, and think about topics, fully mobilizing students' classroom initiative and effectively cultivating their English reading ability and critical thinking literacy. All junior high school English teachers at Nanchong No.11 Middle School listened attentively throughout the class, took detailed notes, and immersed themselves in the teaching methods and classroom structure of high-quality dual teacher classrooms.

After the demonstration class, the two schools immediately held a special teaching seminar and exchange meeting. At the meeting, Principal Chen Chao warmly welcomed the visit and exchange of the delegation from Suining Lvran School, and briefly introduced the current development status of English teaching in junior high schools at Nanchong No.11 Middle School, the promotion measures of dual teacher classrooms, and the key points of reading teaching and research. He shared the practical experience of Nanchong No.11 Middle School in improving English classroom quality, cultivating student literacy, and building teaching and research groups. Principal Zhang Pengcheng provided professional feedback on Teacher Guo Jia's demonstration class and, in conjunction with the mature dual teacher teaching system of Lvran School, shared in detail the school's distinctive practices and successful experiences in English reading teaching, dual teacher classroom implementation, layered teaching implementation, and school-based research and development. He stated that high-quality reading classes are the key to improving students' comprehensive English abilities. Subsequently, all English teachers from both schools conducted in-depth discussions around this demonstration lesson. Everyone focuses on the implementation details of the dual teacher classroom, English newspaper reading teaching strategies, classroom activity design, accurate analysis of learning situations, breakthroughs in key and difficult points, optimization of homework after class, and hierarchical tutoring. Everyone expresses their own opinions and engages in in-depth communication. Teachers shared their teaching experiences with classroom examples, explored the difficulties and confusions in daily teaching, learned from each other's strengths and filled in the gaps in thinking collision, and further clarified the optimization direction of junior high school English reading classroom and dual teacher teaching mode.

The inter school dual teacher teaching exchange activity demonstrated vivid classroom demonstrations and conducted solid and efficient discussions, effectively broadening the teaching horizons of English teachers at Nanchong No.11 Middle School and enhancing their practical abilities in English newspaper reading teaching and the dual teacher classroom model.
